Good value roast dinner. One small issue - they advertise unlimited roast potatoes, Yorkshires and gravy. We asked 3 times for extra gravy as the meal was quite dry. The gravy did not come and there was no explanation or apology. Otherwise, it was all good.

We arrived to be told bluntly by the manager that we had not booked and would not be getting afternoon tea . We booked to celebrate our late daughters short life and we were so disappointed and being greeted with such a none apologetic person who made no effort to accommodate us or offer any explanation as to why our booking was not on the reservation list did not help us with our grieve we feel everyday. We left and will be complaining to Head office for an explanation.

Nice and pleasant Valentine’s Day. Nice food, service, atmosphere at a quite reasonable price.

My husband and I had a lovely meal at The Waterside in Ware. We had a pulled pork burger with all the toppings and skinny fries. The burger was the best I have had in years. We then had an Eton Mess sundae which was delicious. The pub wasn't busy as it was a Wednesday evening and only 6.30pm and the service was very quick. Maybe at a different time and day it would be different. We will definately go back for another meal.
