What a marvelous place to dine when visiting the Safari Park. The food was not exactly gourmet but still very tasty and fit the casual atmosphere perfectly. Their array of cocktail offerings is surprisingly large, considering the relatively small bar area. The ambiance of the building and location cannot be beat - especially the great view of the African Savannah and the grazing animals. Service was a bit slow but understandable as they were packed with guests and looked to be understaffed. As an extra point, I have to mention that the maitre'd showed amazing patience with the very long line of folks who wanted to dine there but had not made reservations. He managed to maintain such a cheerful and upbeat demeanor throughout.

VU was our service and was FANTASTIC! We ordered a snack of pretzel that 6 shared with leftovers. We had the margarita flight. Kids had a meal. Was a great view that was peaceful.

The food and beverages were wonderful. The best place to eat at the park hands down. The service was very slow which can be a challenge if you're hungry. I had requested the appetizer to come out before the meals and it did arrive to the table before the meals. However, there was just not enough spacing between to enjoy without the main course getting cold. All in all, not a bad experience, I would recommend making the reservation at lease a day in advance as you will still have to wait a bit to be seated.

Experience was just okay. It was our first time to the park and this was a recommendation so we made a reservation. From the tables you actually can’t see any animals. They have bar tops on the green space that overlooks the animals. Service was VERY slow and food was just okay. I’m not sure of the other food options in the park, but I wouldn’t recommend this one specifically based on our experience.

Service was very slow this day, however, we enjoyed the views and the food. The prickly pear cocktail was okay - if you enjoy juice-like alcoholic drinks, you would like it. I would not recommend that drink if you’re an alcohol aficionado. Lol Pulled pork was good enough- not the best I’ve tasted. Overall, I would recommend for the views, to cool off, and the general quality of the food was good. Something they could offer in the future is an activity book for the littles while waiting especially if service will be slow.

The view was amazing overlooking the park and our server was nice. The downside was it took over 45 minutes for our drinks to come out and the food took over an hour and came out cold. Esp with two children it made lunch stressful and not as relaxing as I hoped. Next time we visit the park we will try another place.
