Lovely Sunday Lunch at the Waterfront, the only thing I would say was if there would have not been an option to sit outside, I don’t think we would have stayed, it was so very warm inside.

Lovely food and excellent service, the music was a little load for old fogies like us but not excessive. Wine and drinks prices are on the high side, I would normally expect to pay around £25 for a standard bottle in a restaurant here it was over £30. These were minor complaints with the dining experience very good and everything to a high quality and a special mention to the staff who were very good

Booked a table for 6.30 pm arrived early and checked in - was told ok and shown to table at 6:10. Ordered drinks and then ordered our food. approx 6.20pm by now, Received our drinks, three other tables cane in after us and sat near us - ALL THREE other tables received their food before us even though we ordered 30-40 minutes before them. Asked where our starters were and told wont be long - yet another table received their food before us even though they ordered after us again. Had the prawn starter - £12.00 it arrived - 4 prawns and some rocket lettuce !!!! I ordered a sirloin steak for main - £37.50 with a blue cheese sauce - when it arrived 6 x cherry tomatoes, 15 x skinny chips and a piece of steak as tough as old boots. The place is set out nicely and made to look expensive, the food is way over priced and of very poor quality - I would not recommend this place to anybody and would never eat there again - poor food, poor service and very poor food - stay away.

Very good restaurant to eat in. A good variety. Only thought wete to the wild mushroom and spinach fettuccine needed a little more flavouring. Waitress service was excellent everything not too much trouble.

We booked for our wedding anniversary following a previous visit which we had enjoyed. This time, I felt disappointed by the food, the ambience and value for money. We ordered bread and olives for the table, there was no finesse to the presentation. 2 chunks of bloomer bread on a plate with a pot of oil with hardly any balsamic vinegar and some small olives. The mushroom starter was tasteless with another chunk of bloomer bread. The monkfish was chewy. We both agreed for the price of each meal, it was a rip off and expected better presentation and quality. The live singer was great, but way too loud. We were struggling to hear each other, which was a shame as we rarely get out for a quiet meal without the children. We have both said that unfortunately we will not return as we feel the prices do not reflect the quality of the ingredients and the presentation, which is a shame. We feel like our previous visits were better. The service was very good and we had a lovely waitress.

Had a lovely meal. Service was good and waiter/waitresses were attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Clean and tidy decent space between tables. Service was prompt and appropriate and carried out with a smile. Food was a bit disappointing not as good as last visit. Fish was large to be called whitebait It was sprat sized 2 Lemon sole were dry Bass fillets were OK however of 3 muscles accompanying 2 empty 1 Unopened. The Moule was very good but unusual to have to purchase bread separately. Expensive for the standard of food served.
