Starter of smoked salmon and crab was drenched in mayonnaise. Ordered Sunday roast of lamb leg with mint sauce...but no sight of any mint sauce or any lamb leg. It was dry cuts of lamb with usual gravy and had to ask where the mint sauce was. Not particularly flavourful. Sticky toffee pudding was the only nice thing.

We had a lovely leisurely afternoon lunch. We arrived early but were seated straight away. The food was excellent. I had the venison burger. The service was just right. Helpful, friendly and there when we needed it. I’ve been a couple of times and would definitely go back.

Brilliant pub for Sunday lunch. Roasts were excellent, 2vegetarian dishes superb and a good burger too. Nice relaxed vibe, genuine, friendly service. Will definitely revisit.
