Welcome to The Warren Restaurant, an extension of The Crowborough Estate, holding stock of Sussex Cattle, Boer Goats, Fallow deer, and Wild boar amongst others which the restaurant draws on for its menu. We are a Dog Friendly restaurant.

Given the provenance, the kitchen predominantly cooks British food, occasionally dipping into other cuisines to provide a vehicle for flavours – nettle gnocchi for example, or poached oyster with wild boar chorizo.

WE wanted a unique fun and informal restaurant, to offer their Crowborough Estate’s produce from. When the site of the renowned Signor Franco’s became available, with those iconic arched windows of its orangery and glorious terrace overlooking the Spa town, the stage was set.

Amazing staff. The food was great, not perfect, I had the tuna and Niçoise salad. Tuna was delicious but the nicoise was pretty poor.

This is the third time we have had the Sunday roast. First time was two years ago, excellent food & very good service. Second time was 2023, food was good & service was OK. This time in August 2024, we were very disappointed. We waited for nearly 1.5 hours for food, but the food was excessively salty & dry. While we waited for our food, the staff served us some bread (just standard baguette) with butter & olive oil but did not tell us there was a extra charge of £2 per person, total of £10! There was only one staff member serving about 20 customers, so service was slow and inattentive. To top it off, there were about 4 to 5 massive flies buzzing around too. Overall a bad experience.

Food was very poorly executed, over cooked which therefore felt like bad value for money given how expensive it was. Spent circa £200 for two of us.

Fantastic quality and great value from a restaurant who cares about good ingredients and amazing service. I can’t find a restaurant locally which matches it.

First time being here, The restaurant has A very unique decor with good ambiance. We came on Sunday and had sunday roasts, The food is amazing and the service is excellent.

First rate cuisine, lovely atmosphere and good service. We went for lunch and the staff were extremely attentive and efficient. The food was excellent and the atmosphere pleasant
