The Wardroom is situated on a prominent corner in historic downtown Easton, Maryland, in what was formerly The Brick Hotel — considered a marvel of its time in the mid-19th century. The gastronomic, European-style shop and bistro offers handmade pastas, house-cured meats, and artisanal chocolates from top French chocolatier, La Maison du Chocolat. Both a pasta and wine bar, the Wardroom’s menu consists of authentic Italian pasta dishes, cheese and charcuterie plates customized for each guest, and seasonal salads and antipasto dishes. The basement houses an extensive wine cellar and intimate tasting room called The Locker, as well as a temperature-controlled cheese “cave,” and a kitchen where chefs produce fresh pasta each day.

What a gem this place is. Were seated before our reservation time, the host was very courteous, and the staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration memorable. The wine card was a neat addition (no spoilers for future guests) to the experience. Food was fantastic.

Food is delicious, great staff and wonderful selections of wine — either by the glass or bottle. Highly recommend for any meal, including brunch.

This was a great find and atmosphere! Nestled in an italian type market is a small little restaurant. A stand out is the self serve wine system they use, very creative and not something you see often!

We were in town staying at the Tidewater Inn for our daughters Ironman event. I found it on internet because it was in walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing quality of what they had to offer. It was well staffed, everyone was literally top notch for the best service we have had in years! We live in Annapolis, travel all over the country for work every week and we truly enjoyed our evening. We have already discussed that we will drive over an hour to come again. We had the imported steak dinner, bolognese and lobster arrabbiata linguini.

Portions are small so keep that in mind even though the prices aren't. The food is excellent, however. The bread while delicious was served refrigerator cold, a no-no in any restaurant, especially here. A charming experience in an unique ambiance. We don't often eat in a wine shop. The waiter was excellent,making the experience quite relaxed. I recommend the Ward Room, but keep in mind the portions are small.

Had a delightful evening at The Wardroom. Loved the Vinotheque self-serve tasting experience. Staff was universally super-professional and friendly. A particular highlight was the mafaldine pasta - one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten. A winner!

Chicken parm and the Other Half brewing IPA were a great match. Moderately full on a Wednesday before a long holiday weekend. Service was excellent.
