The Food is no more than average and expensive for what it is. Overall As a pub, it needs to improve when there is so much competition within the area!

Genuinely outstanding food, cute bar snacks, sticky toffee pudding is a dream. Service was lovely, were kindly moved to a table upstairs where the noise level was lower which we were grateful for. Buzzy ambiance downstairs and upbeat but slightly quieter upstairs. Lovely evening!

Went for a roast and food was tasty enough, but not anything to rave about and portion sizes were way too small. One person in our party ordered an aperol spritz and it was the worst we’ve ever tasted (seemed like they just poured still water into aperol), so we complained and they topped it up with Prosecco (as it should come). One of the bar staff was also pretty incompetent, was confused where to put things down on a table, would forget who ordered what, also seemed surprised a woman ordered a beer.
