The Wallace Restaurant is a London dining experience just waiting to be discovered. Flooded with natural light and dotted with trees and sculptures, the restaurant offers an elegant lunch and afternoon tea in a sublime setting protected from both the elements and the bustle of the West End. Stop by our stunning courtyard and enjoy our drop-in café.

Make a reservation for:
A La Carte or Set Lunch Menu any day between 12:00 - 14:00.
Afternoon tea service, 7 days a week, between 12:00-12:30 & 14:30 - 16:00.

Please provide any dietary restrictions and/or allergies at least 48 hours in advance so we can guarantee accommodation.

We kindly ask all guests to vacate the building by the museum closing time of 5pm.

Please note, guests cannot book online using a voucher, please email the restaurant with the voucher/serial number, PIN (if applicable), and voucher expiry date to reservations@thewallacerestaurant.com.

We arrived extremely late for our reservation (it was at 4, we got there at 4:30) and they still sat us and gave us the full experience even though the museum and the restaurant closes at 5. The treats and tea were delicious! My boyfriend got the gardenia tea and it was absolutely delicious. Side note: the museum and the restaurant close at 5 pm and everyone has to clear out at that time so arrive before your reservation if it’s later so you can check out the museum beforehand. We definitely intend to return if ever back in London, but this time earlier so we can see the museum.

The afternoon tea was disappointing. The raisin scones weren’t of good quality. The sandwiches were ok.

We chose a day when it was extremely hot. With the glass roof and no ventilation or fans it was uncomfortably hot. By the time we realised the situation it was not convenient to go elsewhere. Lots of water drunk

I thoroughly enjoy our lunch, but choosing the beef on the A La Carte menu, I was still hungry.

A really nice place to have an afternoon tea, especially if you combine with the visit to the gallery. The only reason it’s not a 5 star is they didn’t have the tea my wife requested. Scones were amazing, though, and service excellent.

We had an enjoyable lunch and I would have given higher ratings but for inadequate service. Half an hour to wait for dessert was too long and then the rhubarb in the eton mess wasn’t properly cooked. Meanwhile the waiting staff seemed to ignore us. An apology was eventually made, but this has left an unfortunate memory. That said I shall probably come again.

I was hoping it would be as exceptional as the Wallace Collection itself. The food is very elegant but the service is not. Very slow and the waitress struggled to hide her indifference. They were out of a lot of beers so just chose one for me without checking. Wine waiter was polite. You're best making sure that you order everything at the first instance and order your bill whilst finishing up. The cafe (adjacent) is probably a better bet.
