The Wallace Restaurant is a London dining experience just waiting to be discovered. Flooded with natural light and dotted with trees and sculptures, the restaurant offers an elegant lunch and afternoon tea in a sublime setting protected from both the elements and the bustle of the West End. Stop by our stunning courtyard and enjoy our drop-in café.

Make a reservation for:
A La Carte or Set Lunch Menu any day between 12:00 - 14:00.
Afternoon tea service, 7 days a week, between 12:00-12:30 & 14:30 - 16:00.

Please provide any dietary restrictions and/or allergies at least 48 hours in advance so we can guarantee accommodation.

We kindly ask all guests to vacate the building by the museum closing time of 5pm.

Please note, guests cannot book online using a voucher, please email the restaurant with the voucher/serial number, PIN (if applicable), and voucher expiry date to reservations@thewallacerestaurant.com.

Beautiful surroundings, great food! The afternoon read was glorious, and great value when compared to other afternoon read across London. The staff are excellent, friendly, attentive and professional. Great time had by all.

Good for an adult party. We chose lunch option and sat at 12pm and it was decent value and the food for adults was excellent, only one choice for children and very beautiful restaurant. Service was slow, and slower for the child about 45 mins. Online it states it gives you an hour 15 for your table but it took us nearly 2.5 hours to finish due to the wait.

We were excited to do afternoon tea on this trip to England, however, despite being impressed with the Wallace museum, the cafe and tea service was a bit disappointing. The open air space felt a bit like a terrarium in the summertime. Way too warm, no air flow, and no fans. We live in Miami, so heat is no issue, but it was just stifling in there. Tea was okay, but it was difficult to flag anyone down to get refills. The food, while presented well, was just okay as well. Finger sandwiches were average, scones were uninspired and maybe a bit firm, some desserts were oddly flavored. Not creative, just odd. The staff was nice upon entry, however, as we booked a 4pm slot, we felt rushed out towards the end. I understand staff wanting to leave at closing time, but they shouldn't book tea slots that close if we can't have a solid 45 minutes to enjoy our $150 tea service, you know? I went to the restroom around 4:50 and THREE separate staff told my wife they were closing. We get it, but that's too much. We would've been out of there by 5:00 without the rude nudges. Not coming back. I suggest you enjoy the Wallace gallery for free and have tea somewhere else.

Lovely venue for our annual meeting. The Wallace Restaurant fitted the bill. A perfect place for a relaxed lunch. I highly recommend the Wallace.

Lovely and humorous server, delicious afternoon tea food and brilliant place for enjoying the special day. Also thanks for the birthday cake for my mom.

The Wallace Restaurant is a very pleasant environment, with the high atrium filling the large room with a soft light, and it has become one of my "go to" places when I want to take a friend to lunch. Paradoxically, although the room is large, the sound of conversations is somehow dispersed, perhaps because of the high ceiling, and one can talk without being overheard. Having said that, some of the tables for two were a little too close together and I was glad that there was no one at the table next to us. The food was very good and nicely presented, and the staff were very polite and professional.
