At The Millbrook Inn, the term “local food” is literal: we are surrounded by family farms of every kind, and insist our menu is sourced only from the finest ingredients in Millbrook and the Hudson Valley. In our elegant but laid-back bar and conservatory, we serve elevated, but not fussy, American cuisine, supporting local farmers and purveyors of every kind: from produce to eggs; from poultry to pork; from dairy to maple syrup. Our signature burger, has been called “one of the best burgers” in the Hudson Valley. In the evening, our intimate bar comes alive, with a wood-burning fireplace, great wines, and local, award-winning spirits and liquors. Just like our kitchen, we insist our bar is local; and showcase the best wines and spirits produced right here in Millbrook, the Hudson Valley, and New York State wine regions. We also offer outdoor dining, in our adjacent patio set amidst flower gardens and string lights.

This restaurant is consistently good. The original chef is back involved, which adds to the food quality. The service is top notch. The bartender is both personable and knowledgeable. We find ourselves chosin this restaurant over others in the area quite oftern.

Reserved a dinner night here for my boyfriend during Valentine’s Day weekend. This Inn/restaurant was about 40 min from our home in Cold Spring, and unfortunately, we had bad weather (snow), but we made the trek. Despite arriving 10 min late due to the weather, they were completely understanding and super kind. The food was excellent. Probably some of the best food we’ve had since leaving NYC. The food was fresh, savory yet light. The waitress was very kind, attentive and the food arrived in a timely manner. The drinks were great too. It was truly a romantic dinner and quite cozy during a winter storm. It took us an hour to get back home due to the roads being much worse than when we arrived; but it was honestly well worth it. We will most definitely be returning.

My favorite place for a relaxing and enjoyable meal! The bar tender is a master at her craft and the food here is amazing! Always excellent service and just a gorgeous place to dine.

The Vintage is always a stellar dining experience. The food and service are always wonderful and the setting is lovely. We travel over an hour to get here, and it is well worth the trip!

Service was excellent, drinks very good. I ordered duck, good flavor but meat was a little tough. Prices were high.

This was our first time here but certainly won't be our last. The ambiance is just lovely. Spacious rooms, fireplace, beautiful decor. My wife and I enjoyed our meal start to finish. Our server, Maggie, was just awesome -- friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. A+ server. Our meals were fantastic. The warm biscuit with orange butter was perfect. Our starter was roasted root vegetables over celery root puree. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. I had the pasta special which was very obviously homemade tagliatelle with vegetables. Everything was perfectly cooked with a great light sauce and large portions which I love so I can have the leftovers. We shared a chocolate hazelnut caramel tart that was one of the best restaurant desserts I've ever had. We absolutely loved our dinner at the Millbrook Inn and plan to return over and over and bring friends!
