Lovely staff, great refurbishment, food was amazing. Waiting staff could have been a little more attentive regarding drink refills. A little empty so lacks some atmosphere, but we will definitely be back and will arrive early as the bar area looks great. Thanks for a great evening.

Birthday meal for my partner. Lovely ambiance but very quiet for a Friday night. Service was excellent. First night of their autumn menu so different to what the menu online offered (hadn’t been updated). Was looking forward to a ribeye steak but they only had a steak diane which was served without a sauce? Tasty but it definitely wasn’t a fillet steak like they said it was. Pork belly was delicious! Deserts also. Starters were pricey for what you were served. Complimentary cocktail for the birthday girl was a nice bonus. Excellent choice of wines and drinks generally. All in all 3 out of 5 stars

We have only just returned to the vineyard post the most recent refurbishment. This was a great visit and we will certainly be returning. Our waiter was extremely pleasant, we had the three course set lunch menu which was absolutely fantastic value for money. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. We will certainly be returning, hopefully in the near future I do hope that word gets out that the vineyard has reopened and it is splendid.

Restaurant was very quiet. Food was superb - salmon and steak both cooked perfectly. Service was impeccable.

This review takes into consideration that I need gluten free food due to an allergy. No gluten free bread available. None of the mocktails on the drinks menu were available for some reason. First choice main course wasn’t available so settled for the chicken which was tasty but essentially chicken breast chips and gravy for £20 which is a bit much. None of the deserts (about 6) were gluten free, they said they might have some sorbet which I didn’t really want. Coffee was decent.

Used to go years back but hadn’t realised it was back open. Really good Sunday lunch and excellent service Maybe need table cloths for excellent score
