Service was good. Perhaps too attentive as it was a quiet evening. I think the food is overpriced for what it is. And could do with more choices, especially with the desserts.

Had roast lamb for Sunday lunch. Very nice dinner. Lamb was best I’ve had. Large portions. Very nice decor. Good service.

Food was bland .. out of a packet ! Presentation poor . Expensive. Not silver service trained so not fine dining. Very disappointed. Dog enjoyed the chicken . Would not recommend. General appearance out side the property not very appealing.

1st time visiting as was reccomended. We as a family of 6 really enjoyed the roast dinner, we will be going back for sure. Staff really friendly, clean and food was lovely.

The best roast dinner we have had locally. Loads of beef, huge Yorkshire pudding, fresh veg and plenty of roast potatoes. The cauliflower cheese was fab too. Homemade apple crumble and custard for pudding, was again one of the best I’ve had in a restaurant.

When we arrived we was greeted with a glass of Prosecco, and was shown to a beautiful table. We chose the set menu for fathers day. Wonderful food, amazing service.

We have dined at the Vineyard before but it is now under new management, and we couldn't fault it. Very attentive service, delicious food and lovely restaurant area. We walked through the bar, where we would have liked to have a pre-dinner drink as it was so attractive, but decided to go straight to our table. The heritage tomato starter was fresh and tasty, and my partner had the ham, egg and chips (loin of pork rather than ham, beautifully cooked), although the egg wasn't to his taste. I had a delicious rump steak which needed no seasoning, and very well-made chips. We polished off a bottle of Malbec (well chosen) and were pleasantly surprised by the bill, which included the service charge. The staff were very attentive and friendly. All in all a great experience. We will definitely return.
