    In celebration of Christmas Eve, The Village Pub will be offering a luxurious multi-course dinner for $165. When booking your reservation, you will be charged a deposit of $100 (+tax) per person. This reservation fee will be applied to the final bill upon completion of your meal. For a full refund of your reservation fee, we require a minimum of 7 days advance notice for cancellations or adjustments to your reservation. Cancellation of your reservation within 7 days, including reducing the number of guests in your party, relinquishes your prepaid menu fee. Should you no longer be able to make your reservation, you are welcome to transfer it to someone else, as you would tickets to a concert, the theater, or sports match.

    As always the food and drink at the Village Pub is superb. The service is friendly and impeccable. My only complaint is the pre-set dinner menu (every bite was fantastic) which limits the ordering options and the price. We celebrated a wonderful birthday, and it remains one of my favorite places on the Peninsula.

    Service at the Pub was excellent. Our only issue with the restaurant was the lack of clarity around the prix fixe menu. We were wrongly under the assumption that there would be an a la carte option. In looking again on the open table app, there is no mention (that we could find) that indicated the menu was only prix fixe — though the dinner menu does show it. In this situation, we would have opted for another resistant had we known this…

    I’ve been to many 1 Michelin Star and taste wise was not up to par. Bland and not as impactful in tasting the different ingredients. The best taste is caviar but there is no prepping involved. Just open a can. Also service was not what I expected either. We had to call someone over to clear our plate instead. Overall food was avg and service was average which is disappointing for a Michelin star place.

    What a charming place! Our outdoor table surrounded by tiny lights and dramatic gas flame heaters was so romantic. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about each dish and so friendly. The tuna appetizer was an imaginative twist with fennel. For frequent travelers to Asia you may be disappointed by less than top grade sashimi. The duck breast was excellent, seared to perfect medium rare, and the truffle stuffed chicken was a delight, even though the sides weren’t of the same caliber. My friend and I received a happy surprise when the chef sent our table an adorable tiny cake sprinkled with pink and red heart shaped candies for our anniversary. We aren’t married but if we ever are, we’ll be sure to celebrate here!
