A spot in the outdoor patio was bright, cozy and warm on a chilly day. The eggs and bacon were yummy and the waitpersons were kind and attentive to my friend celebrating their birthday.

Always a pleasure to dine here for the weekend brunch. The James Beard pancake with blueberry compote is outstanding.

I’m sorry I didn’t get our server’s name but he was the best! Answered all my questions and dealt with all our special requests, even when I changed my mind after ordering initially. The place was less busy than the other restaurant 2 doors down which we appreciated so we could catch up talking. Very nice. Thanks so much for a wonderful brunch experience. Next time - James Beard Pancakes!!

The Village Bakery and Cafe does not disappoint. Always great service, beautiful comfortable atmosphere and consistent satisfying food. Our favorite go to spot before or after Filloli Garden visit.

The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. A staff member came by to chat a couple of times and when I said I would have liked it if my cauliflower dish had been a bit spicier, he suggested that next time, we should mention such preferences. We would go there again.
