The Urban Stillhouse by Horse Soldier Bourbon is a unique entertainment space featuring American cuisine centered around a wood-fired grill, innovative craft cocktails, and bourbon education.

This 16,000 sq. ft restaurant bar and event space is influenced by the Horse Soldier Bourbon team’s historic background and favorite destinations including Kentucky, Montana, Wyoming, Canada, Scotland, and more.

The leather sofas, wood-burning fireplaces, copper stills, and vast bourbon “library” will transport you.

Dress Code:
The official dress code for The Urban Stillhouse is “smart casual”. Gym clothes, beach attire including flip flops, clothing with holes, non-dressy tank tops and ball caps are not appropriate for the elevated experience our patrons have come to expect from us.

The Urban Stillhouse by Horse Soldier is versatile; designed with creativity and customization in mind. We want your event or special day to be perfect. Our 16,000 square-foot facility features three private dining rooms, an outdoor patio, three bars, a large upstairs space, “the library”, as well as the main dining floor. Book the building as a whole or design your event a-la-carte utilizing one or some of the various space options. Our state-of-the-art kitchen can accommodate any catering size and cuisine, as well, our full-service bars allow for creative mixology specific to your event. Most importantly, our professional event team cares about your group’s experience as much as you do and will strive for perfection.

Food was great but unfortunately our overall experience here was pretty poor. My husband and I arrived on time for our 8:30 dinner reservation. We sat and watched every party that arrived after us get seated well before us. After having to speak with the hostess twice regarding our table we were eventually seated at 9:00. They sat us at a four top in the middle of the restaurant downstairs which was clearly meant for larger parties since there were no two tops and the area was incredibly loud. We placed an order for the meatballs, deviled eggs and charcuterie which were all great. After placing our entrees we continued eating the appetizers but was told our food would be coming out quickly and the apps were attempted to be cleared twice while we were still working on them. Even after being told our main courses were coming out momentarily the wait was egregious. I ordered the pumpkin soup and my husband the Bison fillet. While everything tasted great unfortunately both came out rather cold. By the time we finished at headed back to the car it was 11:00. Overall pretty disappointing experiences.

Excellent cocktails, attentive staff (even bringing a new napkin unasked when one of us dropped it on the floor -for about a second). The octopus appetizer, pork chop and scallops were wonderful!

One of if not our favorite restaurant in Saint Pete and we are locals. We are regulars here and it is always superb from service to food to atmosphere. We always get a nice table this time we ate at the bar and we served by Vincent who was amazing
