Opened in February 2020, The Urban Hamlet is an upscale American Restaurant / Bar featuring an array of Appetizers, Salads, Flatbreads, Tacos, Burgers, Sandwiches, Entrees, and much more. Located in the heart of downtown Bronxville, NY, we are easily accessible to all major parkways and have ample municipal parking surrounding the restaurant. We also feature a 20 seat long bar with 4 big screen TV's to watch all the live sporting events of the day. Open 7 days a week for lunch & dinner and serving our special Sunday brunch menu on Sundays from 11:30-3:00pm. Visit our website for more details, online take-out ordering or our delivery services. Seasonal Outdoor Dining available weather permitting as there is no cover from rain. Outdoor seating is generally available when temperatures are above 50 degrees.

Great food and service but so loud and sat us near the kitchen door. Very close to the door. Felt like they randomly placed the table there. Lots of little kids and crying babies!

Thank you for your comments and we're glad you felt the food and service were great. There was an event at the school down the street from us this past Friday evening which obviously drew a lot of families out with a number of small children. That's not the normal kind of crowd we draw, especially on a Friday evening at 7pm. In regard to the specific table you were seated at, I'm sorry you felt that way. We're always happy to accommodate any guest's request to change a table location if we can. We hope to see you again soon and thank you again for the compliments on our food and service.

So very loud. Food good but not relaxing to enjoy.

Good morning, Karen. You dined with us from 7:00 - 8:15pm on a Friday evening. This is usually one of our busiest times of the week between both the dining room and the bar area. We were very busy last night and both areas were packed with people. In these situations, it will most likely be on the louder side. The lower dining area, which is quieter would've been a better spot for your party, but you requested a table that was wheelchair accessible as well which is why you were seated in the louder upper dining area closer to the bar. We appreciate you visiting us but if you're looking for a quieter atmosphere, weeknights or even earlier on weekend nights would be more conducive to that. Thank you.

Under staffed. Sat us nearly 30 minutes late and had to beg for order to be taken. Rushed our meal in literally 30 minutes for appetizers and entrees. Couldn’t really tell if food was good or not.

We did have some rare logistical issues throughout the evening last night that contributed to your issues you described. It's not an excuse by any means and please understand that we pride ourselves mostly on treating all of our guests with the exceptional service and attention they deserve. We have had nice dinners in the past, but last night the food was horrible. I sent back the salad and salmon, chicken was overcooked, bread stale, and fig and pear salad was wilted. Service was so slow and atmosphere was chaotic. So disappointing.

It is most certainly not the norm here with us as you even stated you have had nice dinners with us in the past. It is our mission to exceed our guests expectations when they choose to dine with us and obviously, we didn't last night. I will be reaching out to you directly to make it up to you. Urbanizable Hamlet is consistent and always good- great entrees and burgers and the best fries in Bronxville. Recommend it highly!

We always enjoy Urban Hamlet. We’ve been here a dozen times. Food is well prepared and presented. Service is friendly and restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We will certainly return and continue to recommend the Urban Hamlet.

Delicious food and drinks, always a kind server that gets all our modifications right. Highly recommend the chicken sandwich it's insanely good!!
