Relaxed Bistro Style Beachfront Restaurant & Bar with a large open air balcony/terrace that can be covered for eating outside. (with outside heaters and guest Blankets on the cooler days).

Dog friendly, seasonal and local foods of the highest standards served daily.

Local Cornish Beers and Spirits served, Exciting Seasonal Specials changed weekly & Sunday Roast service added on Sundays from October to March.

Monthly Supper Clubs and Special Regular events feature throughout the year.

The restaurant features breathtaking views across to Padstow, out to sea, over the Camel Estuary and across the vast beaches below.

The Padstow to Rock passenger Ferry docks just below the Restaurant every few minutes.

Nice set up, staff are very stretched and service is pretty slow, they are very friendly though. Got bored of constantly asking for them to take a drinks order and then waiting almost an hour between started and main. Food is nice but overpriced.

We ate dinner at The Upper Deck on our first night in Cornwall after coming across it on a review. The restaurant it self is very nice and had a chilled vibe about it. The view over the estuary was beautiful (especially at sunset). The whole experience was very enjoyable. It's not stuck up fine dining, and certainly not an average seaside restaurant! The staff were very professional, helpful and very friendly. Starters: - Mediterranean style king prawns - Roasted chickpea on sourdough Main Course: - Parisian style steak frites - Side of tender stem broccoli Desert: - Tiramisu, - Mango sorbet Drink: - Large bottle sparkling water - 2/3 Pints of beer - cannot remember exactly - Large glass of Sav. The bill came to just over £100, which we thought was reasonable considering what we ate and drank. Would highly recommend and will be visiting here again when next in Cornwall!

We had a lovely lunch at The Upper Deck. Great service, very good choice of food and magnificent location and views. We will definitely go again.

The only little niggle i would say is that the chilli beef whilst tasty could have been better presented as some of the strips were not coated in the chilli sauce so were dry and the rice was very bland, not a lot going on with it and for £24,, daughter loved the chicken caesar salad , was loaded with chicken, and her bloody mary. Husbands sea bass was well cooked and had crispy skin. Quite a wait between starters and mains, but apart from that was a nice experience.

We made a last-minute decision to eat at The Upper Deck and it was an excellent one. The staff were friendly & accommodating, there is an extensive choice of drinks and the food was absolutely sublime. Will definitely be back.

Lovely view and waiting staff were really friendly and attentive Food was awful, I ordered scallops for starters at £14, 3 tiny overcooked, toasted even, scallops appeared on a bed of rocket I had the sea bass which again overcooked, friend flesh down hard as rock. Very disappointing generally overpriced and overcooked

We were the last table served and the squid, scallops and breaded chicken were over done and brown, so maybe some tired chefs. The greens and chips were good. Ambience and service were great and everyone else seemed to be enjoying their meals.

First time visit saw that Lobster was the special but had run out so was a bit disappointed food and service was really good will visit again
