Located on Newmarket Street, The Unthank Arms is a cosy neighbourhood gastropub in Norwich which is an idyllic place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. Also popular for weekday business meals and parties.

We serve food from 12pm and throughout the whole day and evening.

Pleasant Pub, reasonable range and prices, all 4 meals came together, only slight down for me Beef little less pink than I would normally have it.

The service and ambience was excellent, however, the Sunday Roast was very below par. Roast potatoes were very overcooked and impossible to cut and the beef was also over cooked and not a particularly nice cut of beef for £19.

Pasta night with wine… pasta is delicious! Be nice to have a bit of bread included but appreciate the need to make a profit

Really disappointing roast dinner! Stingy portions of meat which were all overcooked. The beef was mostly fat. Roast potatoes were pale and had a strange chemical smell and taste. Red cabbage overly sweet with an odd taste No parsnip despite it being on the menu Yorkshire pudding really greasy Gravy thin and lacked any depth of flavour Food temperature on the cool side. Not worth the cost of £25.50 per person, save your money you can get much better elsewhere in Norwich. We did receive an apology and one of the meals was deducted from the bill, however we will not be returning.

What a fantastic pub! We went when we were at college 30 years ago and back again at the weekend for a reunion. The food was great and the service very accommodating to all our needs, thank you

We were meeting up for a college reunion after fond memories of the pub from our student days. We had great service, super food and the team were very accommodating on our timings and putting tables together. Would highly recommend
