Located in the heart of historic Genesee Depot just down the road from the famous Ten Chimneys you will find the Union House. Known for its unique menu featuring wild game fused with classic fine dining, our mission is to bring people together while creating a memorable dining experience surrounded by historic photos of the town along with Union House frequenters, Lynn Fontanne and Alfred Lunt. The menu is driven by ingredients and is constantly developing throughout the year led by award-winning Executive Chef and General Manager, Dan Harrell and Executive Sous Chef, Christian Garcia-Cortez. We feature an extensive wine, scotch and bourbon list highlighting selections from around the United States and world along with barrel-aged old fashioneds and Manhattans that include our very own hand-crafted bitters. We look forward to having you join us!

Fantastic restaurant! Have been there several times and it never disappoints!! Had the Antelope dinner special with dauphinois potatoes.

Union House is by far the best higher priced restaurant in the area. The food is uniquely prepared and very good. Their private label wines are very good and well priced. The staff is friendly and attentive without being pushy. The atmosphere is very appealing.

The food we had this time was a bit disappointing! We had such a great experience on Sep 3rd, so we ordered the same dishes this time. May be you changed the chef? Everything we had were super salty to a degree being intolerable! I told my husband to shut up and eat not to complain!! But I think you ought to know

My wife and I went to the Union House for an anniversary dinner on a Saturday evening. It was our first time dining there. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere, food, and drinks were all top tier. Knowing that it was our anniversary, they gave us a very special, private table. The atmosphere and ambience were all really nice. We were a little surprised by how low the lights are kept, but we adjusted, and it made the experience all the more memorable. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. What stood out is that when I was ready for another beverage and our waiter was helping another table, another server took my order, and the drink was served in a timely manner by the bartender. I don't encounter that level of accommodation often. The quality of the food and drinks did not disappoint. I'm not a foodie so I don't have the vocabulary to describe things in details. I will just say, my standard anniversary order is a gin martini, medium rare steak (usually a fillet) and a bottle of red wine to share. And I've ordered it at many restaurants. All of those things were fantastic here. The steak was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and delicious. We will definitely be returning for a special occasion in the future!

We went to the UH for the first time tonight to celebrate our wedding anniversary. First of all the building is incredible. Our starter was the Baked goat cheese served with baguette, outstanding!! We ordered NY Strip and Bone in ribeye. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, so tender, melt in your mouth. Our server was Karen, she is a gem!! The Union House is a culinary delight. It is now one of our favorites for fine dining.

This is first negative experience. Reserved noting a Birthday celebration and requesting a booth like we typically get when requested. No acknowledgement of Birthday and we got a table half chair/half booth right next to another table like they were in our party. Asked again for booth and the receptionist was short telling us we should’ve requested earlier. Showed her our reservation requesting it and she said nothing is guaranteed. Watched booths stay open our whole stay and it was later at night. Rushed through courses and whole area had visible smoke from kitchen that continually got worse. Shout out to previous servers for saying hi and catching up as we left. This was our go-to for date night/occasions, but maybe not if we are not good enough for requested reservations.
