The Twits Afternoon Tea
Opening from 1st August 2024

Muggle-Wump brownies, Jam Roly-Poly sponge and our Trick or Twit scones – indulge your inner child and enter into the story of The Twits with our deliciously themed Afternoon Tea inspired by Roald Dahl’s iconic book.
Items include a rather wonderful new take on Wormy Spaghetti (‘Hampshire’ Cucumber Worms, Cream Cheese, Wholemeal Bread), Mrs Twit’s Bird Pie (Chicken, Leek & Ham) and a culinary exploration of Mr Twit’s beard across three separate savories. Sweets are inspired by much loved characters, the Muggle-Wumps and the Roly-Poly Bird and of course no afternoon tea would be complete without scones though, there’s a twist! Guests will have the chance to choose from buttermilk or marmite scones - you’ll never know which one is which!

The Twits Afternoon Tea at London Marriott County Hall will be served daily between 12PM– 5PM from 1st August 2024 and will be priced at £65 per adult and £45 per c

Sorry to leave a somewhat negative review but for the price of this tea, it wasn’t special enough. The ambience and food taste was disappointing as lovers of the book. Staff were polite but I expected more for that price. The ambience, decor, free things given, food taste could’ve been better.

We booked the last sitting at 4.30 wouldn’t recommend as it closes at 5.00 although you aren’t rushed to leave staff weren’t around and if they were they were clearing away. Unlike in other afternoon teas we were not offered more savoury or sweet treats only one plate of each also only one pot of tea each. Not value for money paid but the Twits theme was carried out well.

This was a great experience! The food so delicious and the setting and thought that has gone into the whole experience is incredible! The staff were very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Very over priced for what was included and the menu was not child friendly considering it is aimed at children.. it advertised fish fingers but not at all what you expect. The room and illustrations were very good .

We loved everything! The nostalgia, the environment, staff engagement and the food was delicious. I’d recommend to anyone.

I xant recommend The Twits Afternoon Tea enough. If you are a Roald Dahl fan and especially a fan of The Twits then you need to experience this afternoon tea. The room is decorated with illustrations from the book. There is a small set in the corner showing the worm spaghetti and bird pie and lots lots more. The staff were exceptional at making our afternoon enjoyable and the food was absolutely amazing!!! One of the best themed afternoon teas I have experienced
