We were a party of 6 and had a brilliant evening with exceptionally good food, super service, drinks etc. thanking all concerned! Everyone loved this restaurant!

Following Bank Holiday half the dishes were unavailable so very limited choices. Understand it was busy but to have so many dishes unavailable was very disappointing. What we did have was very good though.

Enjoyed a loverly meal and a couple drinks with friends great value and good food with a relaxed prompt service will definitely be visiting here again in near future

Lovely restaurant steeped in history. Extensive drinks menu with a really nice food menu, varied and delicious food, large portions which beat both my son and I. Fantastic service from the bar/waiting staff. The views over the Quay were lovely too. We'll definitely be back.

I would highly recommend the smoked brisket. Possibly the best roast in the world!

I felt that we did get good value as there was lots of food on your plate. This was the first time we have eaten there. It will not be our last time.

Firstly I want to point out that the food was excellent. We had to wait 20 minutes for a drink and 45 mins to place our order for the food. We understand they were short staffed but this was booked as a special occasion for my friends birthday and the service wasn’t good. The staff were apologetic as we ordered a bottle of Prosecco and this was warm. The cocktails were removed from our bill and the manager was very friendly. We would have ordered a lot more drinks but the wait was too long so we went elsewhere after our meal.

Thank you for writing your review I regret that your experience was below the standards we try to maintain.. Sadly, you are correct, on this occasion we were understaffed leading to a longer than acceptable waiting time.. we had a member of staff with a medical issue leaving us short handed. I'm glad my manager was proactive by offering you free cocktails and I hope you will visit us again to allow us to redeem ourselves best wishes Shane Hughes
