A great welcome and a fantastic dinner last night, really enjoyed the smoked meats and was delighted when the chef took us to the smoker room and explained how he smokes the meat. All n all a great experience.

Very good service by friendly staff. Food was very good particularly the soft shell crab starter . Will certainly return .

Wonderful, fresh food. The smoky, pulled-pork Bao bun was outstanding. A rare treat. Lovely atmosphere and setting, friendly service and very reasonable options on the menu. Will definitely be going back.

So disappointed to find out that the 'vegan' meal served to my friend turns out to not be vegan. The menu advertised a few vegan meals, one being a sweetcorn burger. The waitress was asked about the burger roll, turns out the burger roll in the vegan meal isnt vegan. She then came back and advised the chef has found vegan rolls. The meal was sent out to us and eaten. We have now been sent a photo of the rolls and they have egg in them. Luckily my friends choice to be a vegan is personal and not one due to health reasons. If it wasnt, this would have been a very different story. This is such a shame, the place and the food are so nice, but this experience has put us off ever returning. You cant advertise vegan meals when they arent 100% vegan, it's completely unacceptable.

Thank you for your review Kerrie On the one hand, I'm very disappointed this mistake happened, as I have messaged your friend and explained, it was a simple but careless error and shall not happen again.... This is not to say I do not take this seriously, we will learn from it... On the other hand... I'm delighted to hear that her being a Vegan is a personal choice. The trace egg element in the roll she was served can not be the source of the discomfort she reported to me if this is the case. This is a regrettable mistake but I'm pleased it hasn't caused any ill health. should you choose to book again please ask for me and ill extend all courtesy to ensure you have a much improved experience regards Shane Hughes

The restaurant was quiet due to the time of our reservation. We were immediately approached by the waitress with a wine list and menu. Attentive service without being too overbearing. An excellent menu choice and at a reasonable price. The Sunday lunch was exceptional. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. The chef/owner even came to the table to enquire if everything was to our satisfaction.
