We celebrated my Partners Birthday here yesterday. Both of us have chosen to come to the Tiger for both our Birthdays which is testimony to the overall impact of the Tiger in our lives. The ambience and staff are exactly what we are looking for in terms of a local and beautifully upmarket restaurant /pub. Despite the the Sirloin beef being a hit too tough for me yesterday, we did swap plates and I had the chicken breast instead. We're still on the hunt for our favourite roast but the Tiger still wins for us. My Birthday meal back in August was exceptional. I could not fault anything, apart from having Chapel Down wines such as the Bacchus available on the menu. I had the seafood pasta and panna cotta back in August and it still brings me joy that I got to try something so beautifully made in Kent. We often have to search in London for anything that ticks all of our boxes. I really can't wait to come back here again with my Partner, family and friends. Thank you for being open!

Amazing - exceeded our expectations. Great food, impeccable service. Couldn't ask for more. Just perfect 60th Birthday celebrations for hubby.

Always a delicious menu to choose from, executed to perfection! Friendly and relaxed dining experience in a beautiful setting - our ‘go to’ pub of choice - thanks to all the staff for always being so helpful and friendly 👍❤️

It is a pity this pub is so far away from where we live as it has a lovely friendly atmosphere and the food was excellent. There were five of us and everybody was happy with what they had. The staff were friendly and efficient without being overbearing.

Outstanding once again. Brilliant attentive staff, quick service, amazing food, great prices! Couldn’t fault it at all. Highly recommend!

We were a party of 8 booked for a birthday meal with the Sunday roast. We had to pre-book our meals but Unfortunately 2 of our party were delayed so we waited for them to arrive. When they did arrive, the starters were served after a while which were all nice. We then had to wait another hour for our roasts to arrive and when they did arrive the potatoes were really hard and in most cases inedible. They were cooked and looked really nice and crispy but they must have been left in the oven to keep warm and the outside had gone so hard, most of them, you couldn’t even cut in to. We were asked if we wanted any sauces (horseradish etc) so we ordered these but we never actually received them. The meats were really nice and the cabbage, carrot & cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pudding were nice though, it was the potatoes that let it down. We didn’t have to wait as long for our desserts and all of these were really nice although the vegan pavlova was a little on the hard side . The place was really busy but the staff were good. All in all it was a decent enough meal but taking into account the hard potatoes and the amount of time it took to be served, it was overpriced for what we had. Parking was also a bit of a nightmare as well.

Good afternoon Sharon , Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear the potatoes let the meal down for you and you didn't receive the sauces. We take all feedback on board and I will be talking with the Head Chef to discuss this further. As much as we try not to make mistakes, sometimes they do happen so we would have been more than willing to rectify these issues at the time.
