I had the roast pork belly which was very tasty as usual. We had some bread to start with, which was very good as always!

Service is absolutely bang on - quietly efficient & professional. Food is superb - some really fabulous dishes with innovative combinations and flavours, All of our dishes were excellent. Good drinks list from cocktails to wines by the bottle and glass. We had s super lunch - the start of my friend's birthday week - thank you!

This restaurant is fast becoming our "go to" place. Another excellent lunch with friends from the good set lunch menu. My chicken & ham hock terrine was as described accompanied by a toothsome onion marmalade. Main course of grilled sea bream almost jumped from my plate with fresh flavours on a bed of lightly curried rice and a terrific sauce split with what I think was parsley oil. An interesting dessert of ice cream and coffee foam. Well kept local beer - Rebellion hazy. No dissent from my guests. Efficient , friendly and unobtrusive service. Thank you, Henry and team.

The table we were sat at wasn’t the best, it was right by the bar and had lots of bar staff just hanging around very close to us. The cocktails were good and staff friendly. The tomato starter was very peppery and wasn’t that great overall. The croquettes were tasty. The mains were all very tasty and the side of carrots were particularly delicious. We miss the duck that they used to have on the menu!
