Really disappointed Lots of things on the menu not available including both types of steak at 7:30 on a Friday night

Lovely lunch for a catch-up with friends. Our waitress was wonderful. One of the nicest gastropubs around!

Quality of food served was very poor Beef over cooked potatoes raw other vegetables undercooked -gravy terrible Suggest they change the chef Great pity as it’ used to be an excellentbpub

A local Stunning pub in a gorgeous country setting , unfortunately food does not match this ! Extremely poor choice menu, food not good at all. Definitely not delicious fresh produce as it should be . No ambiance at all . 2 tables filled . Such a shame , as staff are all wonderful , shame about the food . So sorry Would definitely not recommend and will not be returning ….

Outdoor seating is a little uncomfortable as wooden seats and although there are some cushions they’re not quite right. As with a lot of pubs they don’t bring ice with water. Why ? Especially on a warm day. Had roast pork which was nice but only a little bit of crackling and my friend had roast beef. Lots of nice veg with it. Our waitress was very nice and friendly.

We had an absolutely wonderful meal - it was our 10th wedding anniversary and the food and the service made it a truly special and memorable experience - thank you so much!
