The Three Daggers is a traditional, cosy and oak-beamed British pub nestled in the beautiful Wiltshire village of Edington, a mere few miles from the Westbury White Horse.

We are honoured to have won the prestigious Pub of the Year Award for the whole of England in 2020, to have continually held our 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence since 2019 and to have been awarded 5 x Gold Stars from the AA for Accommodation excellence.

Our food is traditional British pub food with a twist, all accompanied with a carefully curated wine list alongside ales brewed from in our very own Three Daggers Brewery a moment's walk from the Pub. We also have the lovely Three Daggers Farm Shop, groaning with fresh, seasonal fruit & veg with much of the produce being sourced from our Priory Farm in the village.

Great restaurant and plenty of seating area. Ordered the Haddock and Chips which was fresh and well presented. Overall the service was quick and courteous. Will use again . Many thanks for a great evening.

Slow service, meals served at different times, plates not clear between courses. I booked a table for five in the sung of the Three Daggers for 12.00 noon. Restaurant empty and I had to go and find someone to show us to our table. After five or so minutes we where presented with menus. A second staff member took our order for drinks and food. Drinks then took over ten minutes to arrive, two pints of bitter which where spilled on the table. Appetiser arrived with starters with took a further 20 minutes. Main courses arrived 50+ minutes after ordering. Only four of our main meals arrived together. The fifth meal we where told was given to another table and we would have to wait a further 5 minutes for a replacement to be served. It took 12 minutes as the rest of our meals went cold. I feel the requirement of any eating establishment is that we are able to eat together at the same time. This clearly did not happen on this occasion. I was given a reasons for this very poor service but a scant apology. When had to ask for dishes to be removed as the next course was served! There was no real attempt to serve us with staff chatting at the bar and at a service till. On paying the bill I raised my concerns and was offered a 15% discount and then that the delayed meal would be deduced from the bill.

Hello Alan, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I understand your frustrations here with your meal, I do apologize as this was a busy warm lunchtime shift where most enjoyed sitting outside which caused delays to your meal. Unfortunately we occasionally make mistakes and we do our upmost to ensure this does not happen, on this occasion it has and I do apologize however it seems that your server was able to give you a discount on the entire bill and rectify the burger not being served at the same time by removing this. Lovely food but it took over an hour for the first course to be served. Had we been told it would take so long we would have ordered starters or nibbles. We were not asked if we wanted more drinks and we had to request the dessert menu and ask that our empty plates were removed. Maybe including the service charge in the bill means the staff don’t work as efficiently as they should. It was redeemed by very good food.

Really enjoyable meal with good service....not a lot of choice on the menu and no specials to choose from but the food was excellent. Also very dog friendly which was a bonus.

Food was nice and the staff were helpful but the price was high for what you actually got. Not the best value for money.

6 of us ate on 18th June. Service was good although we were not offered water at the table. Most of the food was good although the haddock was so over cooked we sent it back. The second lost was excellent. Apart from that the only good which was not good was the vegan dish falafel burger which was tasteless. The deserts, drinks ( beer and soft drinks) were all great. I would return though it was not outstanding.

Excellent service, food was amazing! All of the staff were very attentive, polite and the speed of service was perfect. We came here upon hearing many good reviews and we were not disappointed. Looking forward to more visits - as the menu is amazing and we need to try more dishes!

Food very good but the three waiters walked around but ignored us. Waited over an hour before I asked where meal was, only had main. It finally arrived and food was very good Sat with dirty plates for over 15 minutes with waiters wandering around but not clearing tables or asking if we wanted a dessert, which we did. After over an hour and a half managed to get waiters attention and asked for bill as getting fed up waiting and just wanted to leave Told waiter to remove service charge and told him why I really am happy to give a tip to waiting staff and can’t remember ever asking for it to be removed before I recommend The Three Daggers below if you get decent waiting staff
