On arrival, we felt totally ignored as bar staff were drying glasses. A simple, Hello, would have been nice. We then decided to walk over to the restaurant area and the lady there was lovely, very polite and friendly. We were shown a table quickly and drinks arrived soon after. We ordered the Sunday roast but due to a large booking we were told there would be quite a wait. At least we were warned. The food was fine, a sufficient portion although the roast beef was similar to school’s roast beef. After saying this, we would return as it is convenient.

Staff friendly and attentive. Chips were floppy, greasy & tepid, no sign of cheese in baguette, plate oily residue from food not hot. Drink very expensive @ almost £9 for small glass of wine. Desert ok but presumable not made in house. Table was sticky to touch/ floors dirty. At £30 a head was expensive for what we had will not visit again

Staff were brusque, slow, not polite, took about 30 mins for food to arrive, restaurant not busy. The lasagne was tiny and had been microwaved to a crisp .All the food apoeared mass produced, frozen or precooked, salad dressing was saccharin sweet making the salad inedible, chips were completely unpalatable .Wine tasted as though the bottle had been opened for a week. I was gutted that I had arranged get the lunch for our friends on the 4 crowns.

Sat outside in the pub garden to eat. Staff were helpful as always and food delicious. Always good service.

Absolutely excellent. Our whole visit was great. We will be back. Staff were brilliant and our food was excellent.

The food was amazing, so yummy. We had 3 courses and each one was fantastic! The service was great with the staff being really friendly and attentive.

After 3 very good meals at the 3 crowns, this Sunday afternoon meal was so poor it was inedible. Both the risotto, which was a claggy mess, and the fish and chips, brown soggy, sweet chips , brown battered thin stringy fish.

Friendly service, nice decor and good, tasty food. We had the Sunday Roast which was lovely along with generously sized deserts. Will be going again. Recommended.
