Welcome to The Thornhill Arms located within the picturesque village of Rushton, Northamptonshire.

Conveniently located between Corby & Kettering and a stones throw from Market Harborough.

Independent family owned pub & restaurant, we strive to make you feel relaxed and unwind while within our bar, dining rooms or beautiful garden..
All our food is home cooked using fresh ingredients weather it be a monumental homemade burger or traditional Cod & Chips to a Club Sandwich we have something for everyone’s tastes.

A warm welcome awaits parties large and small.

As always a wonderful time and delicious food. Met the lovely Ali who was very attentive to our table and a lovely addition to the Thornhill team 😊

Great Service, Great Food. Reasonably priced. I would and I am going to definitely return. My only critique, is that a bigger menu for the Grill selection. Steak. And something like a Mixed Grill would add to the menu. But overal we had a great evening and will be returning. The staff were so attentive. Couldn’t have done more you for. I haven’t been for a while. But will be a top choice for return

This was our second visit here, which we did do reluctantly as our first experience wasnt a particularly good one due to a long wait for food. We thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt as they did say they were short staffed on our last visit, but sadly after a 45 minute wait for food we ended up leaving. There was a lot of waitresses walking about so I don't believe they were short staffed on this occasion, just very badly organised. In my view you book a table roughly for the time you want to eat, give or take 15-20 minutes. Additionally, to wait 45 minutes for a self serve carvery is ridiculous.

I’ve been going to the Thornhill Arms for many years and the food has been excellent, unfortunately from the last visit the food was awful, poor selection of veg that wasn’t cooked well and gravy like water. Really disappointed because it was a special occasion, after eating at The Thornhill Arms for many years I won’t be returning.

Great country pub feel with a modern blend. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere with polite and professional staff. Staff were very friendly on our visit and made us feel very welcome and valued. Would not hesitate to go back and have some more drinks or try some of the other food options on the menu.

We are on our fourth visit and the Thornhill Arms are still the best quality and value. Welcome was very good and we were taken to our table. Good selection from the menu with great deals on the fixed 2 or 3 course meals. Service was excellent and friendly. Drinks included plenty of non alcoholic options. Meals were served hot and fresh. Food quality was excellent, all 4 plates were cleared.

We opted for a carvery and were not disappointed. Three different meat joints, plenty of fresh veg to choose from. Piping hot gravy. It was good value for money. The service was good and efficient. Nice atmosphere. No cplaints from us.
