All of our bar tables and outside areas are dog friendly too. Customers can help themselves to whatever is available as no bookings are taken for these tables.

30 years after being here, the pub and restaurant haven’t changed one bit - still superb ambience and food. London restaurants could learn a thing or two about service (our waitress was superb) and the value was incredible. One for the memory bank. Full marks.

We booked a table with friends whilst on holiday for my girlfriends birthday, the food was delicious as always, the drinks were lovely. They had a special dessert, Biscoff Cheesecake, probably the best desert I've ever had. My girlfriend had the chicken pie (she has it every time) still votes it the best pie she has ever had. Really wonderful experience and they even brought out a "happy birthday" decorated plate with a bowl of ice cream and a candle for my girlfriend. It topped off the whole experience. We always come to the thatch when we are in the Devon area, and this visit guaranteed that we will keep coming back. Thank you.

Wow, we had a great evening. Fabulous food. Highly recommend the lamb flatbread! The service was fantastic as well as a great location.

We went as a table of 11, all of our meals were great! I particularly enjoyed my potted crab starter. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Some nice beers on tap. The restaurant was full so pleased we'd booked in advance. We will definitely return next time we are in Croyde!

As always, a great meal at the Thatch. Good quality food. Plenty of choice for drinks. Never disappoints!

Really good food - which is a rare thing for a large pub with an extensive menu. Good service too - great value for money.

Warm friendly and fast service, food was well prepared with good portion sizes, certainly value for money. We will definitely return on our next visit to Croyde.
