    Initial allocated table was not in 'dog free' area, apparently this request doesn't show on their booking. Moved when challenged about seating area. Restaurant busy, so service slower, staff didn't stop. Had to go to till area to request receipt, and paid immediately - 2nd time group not offered 'after dinner mints' when one person has had to go to till to request bill. This does not occurs if you stay seated at table, and staff bring receipt to table.

    The food was wonderful as always. We travel here every year and it never disappoints us. I had the fish pie which was fantastic and the banoffee pie is homemade and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and a perfect mix of people. It’s good to be able to chat and also listen to the live music or watch the surfing on the tv. The staff are always attentive and friendly and it’s great to have a dog friendly pub. Thank you

    Lovely food and service, slightly expensive but the food was great. Staff are super friendly

    Situated at a door, noisy family beside us. Approx 20 flies above us and flying over good asked for flies to be moved or sprayed as it was unsightly eating with all the flies in the heat. Food was warm and well presented but flies wasted the experience. Asked server to remove or spray and this was ignored. Not a happy dining experience.

    We booked a table for Roast Dinner as stated on the website menu 12pm-4pm but when we got there we were told not available through the summer?? What we ordered was still very nice with good service but disappointed nevertheless.

    Early evening booking so not crowded but service was a bit slow but friendly enough so not too bad, food was lovely albeit a bit pricy for what it was but I guess in the centre of Croyde you can charge a premium.

    Super friendly. Amazing food. On the expensive side but completely worth it considering the quality and selection of the food. Amazing.
