Hartsfield Manor is a stunning Victorian manor house in the heart of the Surrey Hills. As well as being host to countless weddings, parties and private events, our 16 acres of private gardens make us the perfect location to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea.

Relax in our hotel lounge with your homemade scones or lap up the sun on our garden terrace with a glass of prosecco. Either way, you are bound to leave full to the brim.

Our afternoon teas are available every day between midday and 5pm. Don't miss our festive afternoon teas, replacing our traditional menu throughout December.

Dinner service is also available to book, Tuesday to Saturday, from 6:30pm until 9pm.

With a strong refreshing flavour & golden colour, a unique blend sourced from Rwanda & Kenya
Earl Grey
Bright & fragrant, blended with bergamot oil to give a distinctive flavour of citrus & spicy floral notes.
Peppermint
Fresh, invigorating, perfect as an after-dinner digestif & caffeine free.
Red berry & flower
A blend of sweet red berries & hibiscus. fruity, refreshing, rich in anti-oxidants & caffeine free.
Camomile Flowers
A naturally caffeine-free, herbal infusion with calming properties. Light, with a floral sweetness
Lemon & Ginger Infusion
A caffeine-free infusion of a tangy lemon, balanced with fiery ginger and aromatic fennel

Unfortunately we were told that it was only afternoon tea on offer, only to see the kitchen carry out roasts to another part of the hotel! There was no music playing so entering the room with one other table felt very dead and awkward. The afternoon tea was £37 each with no refills of tea offered. Whilst efforts were made to cater to an allergy, which was appreciated, this still felt very expensive for what was available. The staff were OK, took us a while to get water and some were friendlier than others but nobody was unpleasant. The venue is beautiful and it feels like a treat. I just wish we had gotten the Sunday roast we expected which would have cost a lot less that £40 per head after tip!

Wonderful food supported by great service. Recommendations of the best wines to complement our meals was provided without fuss. We really enjoyed our dining experience

It was super quiet as it was a Sunday evening, however the staff were quick, professional and friendly and the food was excellent! What a beautiful location!!

The restaurant wasn’t open though we had booked the restaurant, staff were fairly rude regarding this and the service wasn’t great, food was good

We had a lovely afternoon tea at Hartsfield Manor. The staff were warm and welcoming, professional but friendly. Our only complaint was that once we were seated and our tea and food had been brought to us we were forgotten about. I had to leave the table to find a member of staff to ask for our fizz to be brought over, and at no point did anyone check in or offer us more tea or coffee. This was a shame as the rest of the visit: food, ambience, venue and even catering for a gluten free dietary need was all exceptional.

Was at the Hartsfield for an afternoon tea with a friend.The hotel itself is lovely and the grounds are very well kept.We were lucky that the weather was very warm and was able to sit outside. I was very disappointed with the afternoon tea.The cakes and scones were tiny and of not great quality, and more like a children’s portion, the coffee was cold.I had asked for the second round of coffee to be hot but still came out cold.Overall I didn’t think the tea was good value.I have been to other hotels for the same price and quality was much better.
