Arrived slightly early and were greeted by waitress at door who confirmed our booking. Brought promptly to our table for two… we were handed menus and allowed ample time to peruse the menu. We ordered wine which arrived in an ice bucket and waiter poured the wine. Nice touch. Starters and mains were excellent and a nice coffee rounded off the meal..

It’s the ideal way if you’re going to a show. Early arrival. Easy parking. Plenty of time to relax.

We had fish and chips. Nice and fresh with a lovely chrispy batter, and the cheesecake dessert was delicious. The service was excellent and it's also so handy to go straight to the performance after dinner.

Really enjoyable setting, I love the idea of pre-concert diner. staff was good, the atmosphere was great. However, we can't get over the price vs quality of the food. Really paying a premium for sub-standard food quality. Either fix the price or fix the quality, I don't mind to pay that price but I do expect the quality to be reflected in the plate.

Prices have increased to a level that does not match the menu or quality. Prices for starters are outrageous for the offering. The roast beef special was way over priced and seemed to be cooked hours in advance and kept warm afterwards so that it had dried out completely. The lamb lion was unusually tough. We have been regular patrons on concert nights and fully satisfied previously, but will now go elsewhere.

The service is good and we had a starter, main, desert and cofee with time to spare before the concert. The food did not match the service. The real problem was pricing. Gastro pub food served at almost fine dining prices. In my opinion not too far off double price for the quality of food served. It is convenient for a concert booking and if you just order the fish and chips I could say fine but for value, stay away from other courses.

Absolutely delicious food, top quality and plenty of. Lovely ambience - just the right amount of hubbub to give a good atmosphere without being too loud. Would happily recommend.
