The Terrace is Chef John Fraser's American brasserie located in The Times Square EDITION. From theatergoers and power meetings to dinner parties and big brunches, our all-seasons garden restaurant offers an unexpected oasis for locals and tourists alike, nestled just steps away from New York City's most iconic intersection. The seasonal menu marries the innovation of contemporary cooking with a respect for American culinary traditions, all while emphasizing locally sourced ingredients from regional farmers and purveyors. Brasserie classics share space with a wide variety of vegetable-forward offerings, a signature cooking style of Chef Fraser's.

We are located on the 9th floor of The Times Square EDITION, entrance on the north side of 47th Street just east of 7th Avenue.

Great location if seeing a show in the area. Food was ok, wine was a bit bland. No ambience at all. Staff were great and attentive. Food was overpriced

Beautiful restaurant, not too noise and the food was delicious! Make sure you order the chocolate mousse cake (it’s like a lava cake).

Our first trip to NYC and we found this place! Wow, it was amazing! Everything about it, friendly staff, great service, lovely food and well priced. We loved it, would love to go in the summer when the full terrace is open but we had an amazing view over Times Square. Will definitely visit again on our next trip.

Overpriced for the value of the appetizers and regular sodas. Very small portions, hot food wasn’t fresh at all. Waited a long time for service in general. Wouldn’t have minded paying for good food however unfortunately the value wasn’t there at all.

While it is a pretty hotel, I booked an early reservation for a show and checked out the menu before hand. They had a “broadway express” menu option and I thought it was perfect! Booked the ressy, and wasn’t told until I arrived that any reservation before 5pm is only drinks and appetizers. The staff was not helpful when I explained the situation and provided no alternatives. We decided to sit and get drinks while we found another reservation. The two drinks we ordered took 30min to get to the table alone. Overall I do not recommend - IF YOU SIT BEFORE 5pm YOU CANNOT EAT!! I even went back to my reservation to see if it was mentioned anywhere it was basically only drinks, and it was not. It is very misleading.
