The Terrace is Chef John Fraser's American brasserie located in The Times Square EDITION. From theatergoers and power meetings to dinner parties and big brunches, our all-seasons garden restaurant offers an unexpected oasis for locals and tourists alike, nestled just steps away from New York City's most iconic intersection. The seasonal menu marries the innovation of contemporary cooking with a respect for American culinary traditions, all while emphasizing locally sourced ingredients from regional farmers and purveyors. Brasserie classics share space with a wide variety of vegetable-forward offerings, a signature cooking style of Chef Fraser's.

We are located on the 9th floor of The Times Square EDITION, entrance on the north side of 47th Street just east of 7th Avenue.

Had an amazing experience, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We were running around 15 minutes late and were seated almost immediately after arrival. The sides taste fairly more better than the entrees, but no complaints! Thank you for the amazing service and excellent experience!

The service & atmosphere was great but the price for the small portions is high way robbery - the food was sub par at best & overpriced .

It was very nice! From the front door to hostess! We came an hour early but was able to sit and hang out! Our waitress was very nice. It did take her some time to get back to us, but once ordered we were staving. The fries with fondue were amazing. The baked clams were OK. The Bolognese was underwhelming, but your dessert for two that I love New York so decadent! I would love to come back here and try other things on the menu. Hopefully to sit in the other room, I will definitely put this on my save list.

Location is fantastic. Very quiet, calming atmosphere. Service was timely, waiter asked about whether we were seeing a show, so we could get out on time. Signature Old Fashioned was delicious as was the Tiramisu. Chicken was moist but needed more sauce for flavor. Chestnut dumplings were interesting but the best thing on the plate was the celeriac puree. Overall, a beautiful experience that's about 30% overpriced.

Terrace Gardens- quite literally the best food my friend and I have ever had up until that point. Octopus with squid ink and beautiful duck that was both sweet and savory in ways that are unpredictable. Focaccia that resembled deep dish pizza yet held its own due to its light and airy nature. A new fish, Dorade, that was light, citrusy, and palate cleansing in the way that the flavors dissipated as quickly as they departed leaving only their dreamy memory on the surface of your tongue. Fantastic eloquent service and atmosphere. *****

Lovely setting for restaurant week. A bit pricey for other times. Delicious appetizers, chicken and fish entrees. Loved the Tiramisu. Friendly server also had a large party to handle.
