The Tartan Fox by Adam Handling

Welcome to our British restaurant and pub, with gardens, in the picturesque countryside of Cornwall, between Truro and Newquay. We offer sustainable British pub food, with a luxury approach. It’s a simple offering but really showcases the best of produce from in and around Cornwall. Our Sunday lunch is perfect to come and enjoy with your friends and family (and your dogs are more than welcome too!).

    Amazing service, food was outstanding, we had bread with chicken butter (delicious) followed by roast pork Sunday lunch - the best we’ve tasted. Perfect

    An amazing lunch at the Tartan Fox, Lovely atmosphere, table set up and ambience! The food was incredible and the only issue was we were spoilt for choice! We wanted to try everything and we certainly tried our best! Thanks Foxes it was a superb lunch! Roll on The Ugly Butterfly tomorrow !

    A lovely experience, food was delicious. The staff were all lovely, very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was gorgeous. A couple of lovely little extra touches were added as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting one of Adams other restaurants.

    Such a great experience. I had high expectations and they were surpassed. Relaxing environment and quality wise everything was top notch. Crab cocktail, chicken butter with the bread, oysters, beef tartare and deep fried mars bars were all highlights. Great wine service from Tom. Would definitely recommend

    Such a lovely welcoming environment, staff very friendly, warm and cosy inside on a cold wet evening. Loved the music playing outside as you approached the pub. The food was some of the best we have sampled in a while, will be back soon and would highly recommend.

    Our second visit to the tartan fox, amazing food and service. We really wanted to try the Sunday roast menu and we weren’t disappointed! Definitely up there with one of our favourites in Cornwall. We will definitely be returning as frequently as we can!

    Amazing food as you would from an Adam Handling team. Possibly the best Sunday lunch ever!!!! Slight mix up with drinks but the other than that service was excellent.
