Established in 1985, and located on Raglan Street, just off Princess Square in the heart of Harrogate, The Tannin Level is one of Harrogate's best loved and most renowned restaurants. Known for its wines (its name is a wine term after all!) as well as its food, it has garnered an enviable reputation amongst the towns sophisticated 'foodies'. The Tannin Level has a certain style and an unmistakable elegance, and its many original features combine to create the unique Tannin Level ambience.
The food is modern British with a Tannin Level twist, utilising only the very best seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible. As you might expect, all our food is freshly prepared by our chefs, which also means that if you have any special requirements, we can usually oblige. The food was amazing, staff were all very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

The Barnsley Chop was a hit. The vegetarian enjoyed the fritters. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Timing between courses was spot on and we didn’t feel rushed in any way. We have been several times and never disappointed.

Food was lovely the restaurant was very cold we had to keep our coats on, the waitress was very unknowledgeable

It was a wonderful experience from startto finish Great service, not too much but attentive. Food delicious and good value for the midweek offer menu.

Although I have lost count of the times I have visited Harrogate I have never been here before , I seen it advertised on social media and decided to visit , the food was really nice, you did not feel rushed and the atmosphere was so relaxing I will definitely return on my next visit in the area .

We had the Sunday roast which was absolutely outstanding. The best one we've ever had. Followed by 2 delicious deserts of the Sticky toffee pudding and the Lemon tart. We will definitely returning to this restaurant and will be recommending this restaurant to our family and friends. Can't wait to go back. Also the early bird menu looks like very good value for money at 2 courses for £20 and 3 courses for £24.

Fabulous Sunday lunch as always. I had family visiting from Kent and they were extremely impressed by the quality of food and service. Best Sunday lunch in the Harrogate area.
