If you want to sling tacos and tequila you have to be in the right place. Bourbon Street comes with a long history of being the centre of West Edmonton’s restaurant and nightlife scene, so we knew it was the perfect spot to plant our taco flag (yes, we have one in the back) and open up “shop”. Walk down the bustling promenade and let the energy of our cantina draw you in. Come check us out and let us feed you tacos and tequila!

We have eater here many times. We only have ever had one back experience when the chips tasted like slightly over used oil. Otherwise, the food was always excellent.

Our server Jade was not personable at all, and really gave off the impression that she did not want to be serving us. She was training a new server and he was fantastic, but Jade’s people skills and serving skills were not great. There was food forgotten, which she had verified with us beforehand to come out first. There was no check ins about our food or anything, we had to ask other staff members for assistance with service. We asked 3 different staff members for boxes for our food, and we were constantly forgotten. Really not a great experience.

First and Last time trying The Taco Shop. The food was ok, 3 of 6 dishes were cold, the service was not pleasant, limited kids menu,.... had the salmon tacos, there was a lot of avocado and a small amount of salmon.

I love the Taco’s. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The Beef Barbacoa and Esquites are amazing. The only feedback I would give is that it takes way too long to get drinks. The bar is amazing busy and the servers are always handling too many tables. Just get some more staff support and this would be a 10/10

Our servers for the two tables were beyond amazing. Especially the young gentleman who served the adult table. He deserves to be commended.

Although the atmosphere of The Taco Shop is energetic and fun, the food seems to lack the attention to detail. The beef tacos were watery, and had to be eaten quickly before the corn tortilla completely dissolved. The ceviche too, although plentiful, was drowning in too much liquid. The margaritas were good at best, when the expectation in a restaurant of this kind would be great to mind blowing. Our server was friendly, but seemed overly concerned with us providing positive feedback. Well, here is my feedback…when a customer finds a piece of aluminum foil in their food, some concern would be nice. Offering another portion when everyone at the table is finished eating is just not good enough.

Authentic guacamole made at the table. I had the Blackened Salmon - lots of food and very flavourful. Highly recommend😊

It was ok. Service wasn’t great. The table wasn’t cleared till the bill came. Had to ask for napkins, cutlery and more drinks a few times over. Server maybe just had too many people in her section and not enough help.

It was the worst experiences of my life, we waited 30 minutes and we had no service at all. People around us were sifted after us and they got there orders taken right away. We didn’t stay, I will not be going back to Thai place and I will let my friends and family know about this experience as well.
