The Wensleydale Hotel & Tack Room Restaurant is ideally located on the Market Place of the town of Middleham.
Booking for Dinner or Sunday Lunch is essential.

We welcome dogs in the Bar or in our Private Dining Room, which can accommodate up to 16 on one table.

Food was absolutely fabulous, I had lamb which was so tasty and the veg with it especially the potatoes were lovely, my husband had steak which he really enjoyed ( and of course I had to try it!) both desserts were lovely and just the right amount. I would definitely recommend the crème Brûlée. A lovely atmosphere with lovely people. Would recommend 10/10

Enjoyed the food and wine very much (sea food soup followed by bream). Welcoming atmosphere, though the restaurant was rather empty (a Sunday evening). We liked it enough to try to get a table the following Friday, but hadn't booked and it was full.

A relaxed dining experience in pleasant surroundings. Great food - a short menu but we could happily have chosen anything. Charming staff, friendly and knowledgeable. It was so good that we returned the following evening.

Excellent dessert - the best Tarte Tartin I have ever had hands down. The food overall was of excellent quality and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was our first visit but we will be back. Thanks to the whole team.

We would highly recommend the Tack Room restaurant in the charming village of Middleham. From the moment of our arrival in the beautiful dining room, the service was excellent. We felt the atmosphere was lovely and the food excellent. Although more expensive than other eateries in the village, a visit to the Tack Room is well worth the extra.

Excellent dinner at The Tack Room with great service. The only pity is that more people were not there to enjoy it.

We were the only people eating that evening so very quiet However, we were very well looked after and the food was well cooked, and the presentation was well done. We unfortunately booked weeks ahead and it turned out to be Euro Finals. However, I would use again and have been back for morning coffees already.
