   Lovely Saturday lunchtime visit, very busy but well controlled . Food was tasty, chicken burger, cheeseburger, fish and chips, all excellent. Good value for money. Had to pay a deposit which was fine and understandable. Plenty of young staff and we all said how hard they worked, knew what they were doing and were very friendly. All in all a great visit, have been a few times before and will definitely visit again.

   Reliably excellent. A wonderful country pub and restaurant. Varied and interesting menu and wide choice of beers.

   Not many visitors today, so lacking in atmostphere, but otherwise excellent

   We always have a lovely time at the Sword- today didn’t disappoint. We had a toast which was perfect- portion and temperature. The pub was busy but not noisy. We weren’t rushed either. The staff as always were friendly helpful and efficient. Thank you very much.

   VERY NICE TOUCH TO FIND A BIRTHDAY CARD WAITING FOR US ON THE TABLE. IT MADE AN EXCELLENT START TO OUR LUNCH.

   We (table of 4) all chose different starters and mains. All were cleared and thoroughly enjoyed. Still my wife’s favourite place to visit. Great food, good ambience. Staff always great. And thankfully busy in a good way.

   We've been many times and always enjoyed the delicious food and lovely friendly atmosphere. It was my daughter's 11th birthday, which I mentioned when I booked, and they kindly surprised her with a birthday card in the table when we arrived. Can't wait to go back.

    Our first time eating at the Sword Inn Hand today. Went at lunchtime. Warm welcoming staff, good service, delicious food, charming pub in a very pretty village. Food portions were generous and nicely presented. We will be returning.
