One of our favourite places to go for lunch over many years but no more. Had issues last time with food quality and today was the reverse! Good food but the service was poor, long waits, inexperienced staff, seated in a chilly bar area, no fires lit. Generally below par, we won’t be back it’s nothing like it used to be…..

Beef roast dinner was hard to cut. This was due to the line of fat in the middle. Veg or the lack of it, 1 baton carrot and parsnip, which was just an inch in length 3 x 1/4 roast potatos The price for 2 dinners and dessert was just over £75 and that was with a £9 off for 2 course's with a wine and a beer, understand the economy for the pub trade hasn't been good, but £75 is a bit of obscene, oh well looks like I will be cooking dinner next weekend for the wife.

Nice night, food was ok, good service, drinks was expensive, but did have a voucher for £25 off
