Had a great time on valentines night Great food and atmosphere, however the service was slow but it was a full restaurant that night Has not put us off as we were looked after and had a great time overall.

Food was good BUT 1. There was a party with loud music going on in most of the venue which made it hard to have a conversation - we should have been told about this when we made the booking and would have changed our plans. Also, because of the party, we were not seated where we requested. 2. Staff lost interest in us and were focused on the party. 3. A 12.5% service charge was imposed on us. We are unlikely to visit again

Booked for a Sunday to find only a limited menu available (not per as online) and various dishes from starter to desert unavailable. Real disappointment. Very limited real choice. Food was very good however but service slow. Tip included in bill. Tbh a disappointing experience given the extremely limited meal choices available.

First time we had been to the Swan, the service for the ladies was very good, polite and helpful. The ambiance and general feel of the place was nice albeit a bit chilly, much like the food. needed to put hot gravy over the food to warm it up. On the good side, the homemade minestrone soup was fantastic, full of flavour and ingredients and the salmon that my partner had was also very good. We will try again at some point

Very good food and enjoyable company. Minor complaint was loud noise from another table of diners!!

Lovely restaurant ,smart ambience —- a little noisy when we ( table of 6 ) we’re here because quite a few kids ( end of term day ) & background music is a little load ( although we are oldies with less than perfect hearing ) . Food is first class — lovely tiger prawns in white wine starter also bruschetta & capresse with buratta were 1st class. The sea food risotto & linguini risotto were excellent . Staff ( Andrea & Jolita ) we’re very friendly & efficient . We had starters , main courses puddings & coffees and various drinks ( not abstemious ) —- so £55 / head was good value —- but one could easily eat there for £30 / head . Will definitely go back soon .
