Bienvenue au Sunset Restaurant, situé sur une des plus belles promenades de la Zuma Beach de Malibu, en Californie. En arrivant devant ce restaurant pour le moins isolé, vous ne pourrez pas passer à côté du spectacle à couper le souffle qui vous sera offert par l’océan, et sur l’horizon du Pacifique. Situé juste à quelques pas des plus belles vagues, vous pourrez peut-être apercevoir des baleines ! A noter que le coucher de soleil que vous pourrez admirer dans ce cadre ne trouve son pareil nulle part ailleurs en Californie du sud. First off, the service was excellent. As far as the food, you generally go to this restaurant for the location. The food was too salty and very overpriced.

A great experience. The restaurant is right on the beach. You can experience a beautiful sunset while having an amazing dinner. Love this place!

I love this venue for the convenience of the ocean and the ocean breeze as you dine. The food was very good and consistent from my last visit. What made this special was our waiter Andre and one of the managers Autumn. They were both awesome in terms of service and conversation.

The food continues to be an issue at this restaurant. Ordered clam chowder, grilled octopus and chicken Marsala. Octopus was really good the chicken Marsala was so basic was not tasty at all. I’ve been to this restaurant many times but every time I go i really hope that their food gets better but maybe contemplating to go there for desert only. The carrot cake is the best The service is always good though.

You cannot beat the ambience and location of this cute little restaurant. We've been here many times and it's a frequent stop, the food and drinks are fine but the service is severely lacking every time we come and yesterday was no exception. They seem perpetually understaffed. Come for the view and the ambience, but plan on waiting longer than expected for nearly everything.

My group had calamari fritti, chips and guacamole and seared scallops for starters and the wagyu burger and fish sandwich for mains. While the taste and quality of the food was great, the value was somewhat diminished by the pricing. It was a tad too pricey for the ambience and quantity .The serving size of starters are definitely not for sharing. For service, valet was great and not crazy expensive. Servers were friendly (although the receptionist could smile a bit more).

We love the Sunset and decided to go there for our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, they were severely understaffed and our server was overwhelmed. We were hoping to close out our meal with some wine and a dessert, but she just couldn’t get to us long enough to even bring us a wine list or dessert menu. She was working very hard, but it was a disappointing dining experience, especially for our anniversary. The food was delicious, though. If you’re going, just don’t make it for a special occasion. The ambience, noice level, and service is akin to a Denny’s. The food quality is splendid, though (unlike Denny’s!).

The charred octopus and clam chowder appetizers were great. The entrees were another story. The wagyu bolognese was flavorless and I could only eat a portion of it. My daughter got the shrimp and zucchini risotto was also flavorless except for the fish taste. The flourless chocolate dessert was exceptional and the highlight of the meal. The service was meh and I waited 10 minutes for someone yo check in and vring salt and pepper. We will not be going back to Sunset.
