We are a 17th century country pub with rooms. Located in the pretty village of Felmersham, in Bedfordshire - North from London. Come and feel part of our community and experience the best produce Bedfordshire and beyond has to offer.

So lucky to have this pub as our local. Staff are wonderful, always friendly and attentive. The food is incredible! Love our wee pub 🥰

Lovely candlelit dining room with rustic charm and great food. Not pretentious they just doing everything really well for people that like good food and drink. The evening farmers menu was really good. It’s not often you come away from a restaurant these days where you cannot fault a thing. Just about to rebook for Sunday lunch :) Absolutely spot on.

We've been many times before and the food is going from strength to strength, so we decided to celebrate our anniversary at The Sun when we saw the Valentine's Day set menu. My only quibbles would be that the delicious bread could have been sliced a bit thinner, the butter needed a bit of salt (the menu said sourdough bread, house churned butter and salt, so I presume the salt was supposed to be on the table), and the dessert had too many sweet elements (the poached pear and pannacotta didn't give enough contrast to the gorgeous pecan pie). Service was friendly and just present enough. The candlelight made an appealing atmosphere, but I am glad I didn't have to try to read a menu by it!

Very generous portions and extremely tasty Sunday lunch - our first time and it certainly won’t be our last. Great that a portion of cauliflower cheese comes as standard and not at an additional cost like many other pubs! Thanks to all the team.

We had the best time, food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back when we are in the area again.
