Suite à une rénovation complète récente, le restaurant The Sun Dial a rouvert le 13 août et invite les convives à profiter de son établissement haut de gamme moderne et de sa vue imprenable.

Tournant à 67 m au-dessus de Peachtree Street, The Dial Sun est le seul restaurant à trois niveaux d'Atlanta qui offre une vue panoramique à 360 degrés sur les toits de la ville. We have come to this restaurant for over 20 years. This was the first time we came for New Year’s Eve. I’ll start from the beginning: The service: The waiter was very nice but we wanted to have a few drinks before eating. We explained that one party had a shellfish allergy and ordered a bottle of wine and told the waiter that we needed a minute to look over the menu. Then food started to flow out of the kitchen without us telling them what we wanted. The menu was limited BUT there were choices that we should have been able to choose. The food: The food was horrible!! My husband was given a piece of carrot with a flower for his second course. I was appalled. We all were. There was no thought when this menu was made. None. You will see in the pictures that this meal was definitely not worth $145 per person. Instead of coming up with these weird courses, they should have just limited the menu you already have. When the food was brought to the table, there was no announcement of what we were eating. We asked one waiter that delivered the food and he had no clue. They gave us oysters that were clearly bad. Not bad tasting, the oysters were bad. The celery root soup was watery and tasted like a pack of Lipton Onion Soup with too much water. It was bad! The best part of the meal was the steak and the dessert. They did ask what our choice of entree was and what our choice of dessert was. The potatoes that came with the steak tasted really bad. They looked like au gratin but it was mashed potatoes with a thick film and was not tasty or edible. We all had different desserts and they were all great! The waiter said they were no made in-house. That made a lot of sense because the desserts were top-notch. At the end of the evening, we wanted to look at the fireworks at 12. As we stood and looked out the window at 12:15, a woman yelled “happy new year, we are closed security will be coming to do his rounds and the elevator will shut down soon”. Worst NYE ever!

Our waitress Mimi was awesome! We came here for their NYE event and the food was delicious. I had a wonderful time.

The new year eve special dinner was so terrible. Very expensive, very small portion and the steak and lobster was made before customers came. It’s cold and that’s the only option they had. $140 per customer and bad food! We enjoy the view tho. Beautiful place and servers also very nice.

I took my fiancé to the Sundial for her birthday. It was foggy and cloudy outside so there was no view. The menu selections were overpriced for starters. There were good options but for what we ordered and the cost didn’t add up. I would like to give high kudos to our server Rhonda who was top tier.

Everything about our visit to The Sundial was wonderful. The Hostess that greeted us in the lobby of the Westin set the tone for a friendly and welcomeing experience. Our server, Peter, was fantastic. He was personable, knowledgeable, and helped us choose a wonderful meal. The timing of the courses was just right and the food was delicious! And then there's "THAT VIEW"!!! We enjoyed our wonderful meal over looking the City of Altanta's gorgeous night lights. Walking the full 360° overlook area after dinner topped off a perfect evening at an amazing restaurant. We will definitely return.

It no longer rotates, and reservations are only through open table where that does not seem to appear. There was also a fixed menu that did not seem to be in open table either. It was good, but not worth the effort or price. Glad I was staying there as I would not have wanted to travel to get there.

This place is beautiful and great for building memories by admiring the beauty of Atlanta. The service was excellent, but the food does not reflect the amount of money I have paid.

Terrible. The bar was dead slow, we had our first course before our drinks arrived. The kitchen was dead slow, 1 1/2 hrs before we received our salads. We didn't even get a couple of the courses on the prix fixe menu, finally just asked for the entrees to be served asap and the desserts boxed. Never, ever book this restaurant for Christmas. We've been here before and always enjoyed it. We may never go back, what a waste of $140 per person. Truly bad experience, they should be ashamed of themselves.
