Suite à une rénovation complète récente, le restaurant The Sun Dial a rouvert le 13 août et invite les convives à profiter de son établissement haut de gamme moderne et de sa vue imprenable.

Tournant à 67 m au-dessus de Peachtree Street, The Dial Sun est le seul restaurant à trois niveaux d'Atlanta qui offre une vue panoramique à 360 degrés sur les toits de la ville. Pour souper dégustez des plats contemporains américain de saison, inspirés par des ingrédients locaux et artisanaux par le chef Jason Starnes.

You pay for the "view". We got two 8 oz steaks and two drinks for $240. Dirty bathrooms, some of the cloth chairs were even dirty. And it's not a 360 degree view of the city unless you walk around the entire building, after you eat. You only see a partial view from the side of the building you're sitting on. But hey, at least you get free cut up pieces of wheat bread with butter...

The Peachtree Plaza needs a complete remodel. It’s woefully lacking in all areas of interior design, and the furniture is severely scuffed, and not worth presenting. The fifth story bar had only one waitress, and the tables wobbled to the point that “I” had to put napkins under the feet. The Sundial Restaurant doesn’t even rotate. They have closed the part that rotates more quickly than the restaurant. The observation decks have touch screens, but are WAY outdated even comparing them to an Apple watch. You can’t even shift the screens to the right, left, top or bottom to see others areas of the beautiful skyline of Atlanta. The carpet was old, and outdated. Also, some final points… The valet parking costs $44!!! Even though we ate at the Sundial. They need to totally change literally everything from the ambiance to wall decor and cleanliness and move into the 21st century. They desperately need to totally change the expectations of the customer, and develop a revitalised customer experience throughout every aspect of their hotel, management and employees. They need to set themselves apart in an intensely competitive sector, where factors like brand loyalty and customer experience can impact market performance. They need to have an ongoing commitment to change and adapt themselves to an ever changing market landscape. They cannot sit by, and assume that they will thrive based on the height of the hotel.

The Sundial made my birthday an awesome & delicious event with a great view. Server Peter outstanding with a candle on my desert. YYYAAAYYYYYY!!!!!

Sure it’s a nice view, but this place is not worth $82 for an 8 oz filet. The hotel itself and restaurant feel dated. Go to Bones or Hal’s in Buckhead, or if you have to stay downtown even Ruth’s Chris is a better option.

For being such a large place, we still got the personal touch. It was a Wednesday night. Very friendly, very knowledgeable service. We were allowed to take our time & hangout really. Something special about drinking a bottle of wine up there, eating family style, talking, looking at the city, time flies. Will be back one day.

Terrible and limited menu. I ordered the seared halibut, and it was overcooked and so dry that I literally had to use a knife to cut it. The AC made our seating area uncomfortably chilly.

Food was average and way way overpriced!! Views is great, but that’s the only thing this restaurant has going for it.

We were at the restaurant for my daughter’s birthday. For starters, the food was amazing!! We ordered fish, steak, appetizers, sides, drinks and desserts and they were all great. But Shauna, she was our waitress and she was top notch, five star! I would recommend the Sundial restaurant. Just know that it is pricey but you are paying for excellent food and the experience; it is worth it!

Jeffrey our server was absolutely amazing. He really made our experience an exceptional experience. The food was great. I highly recommend it.
