A lovely way to spend an evening. The evening, for 4 of us, started with some lovely cocktails - all delicious and set the tone! The ambience was great with the doors slightly open. I had the delicious prawn dish, fabulous! My friends all had different items and all great flavours and well presented. Attentive service and an all round superb night. A go to location

The waitresses were very attentive and helpful. The starters were lovely, the mains were not great. I had a prawn dish with aubergine and courgette but there was no courgette replaced with carrot and the aubergine was undercooked. The cocktails were pretty aweful. The mojito was very bitter and had no syrup and the pornstar martini the same. The Prosecco was poured from a small bottle not dissimilar to what you get from Lidls or Aldi. Overall it was nice and I would go again. Perhaps try a different main and stick to wine.

This is one of Northamptons best restaurants. The menu is varied and the quality of the food is very good and fresh. The decor is of a high standard. The owner is very visible, active in both the kitchen and serving. My only negative was the continual pouring of our wine by our server. I like to pour the wine at my own pace. She also cleared our plates before we had all finished, which I found rude. This is a very small criticism and did not detract overall from a great dining experience.

This is our "Go Too" restaurant for special occasions!! Our 3rd 50th birthday celebration! It was quiet, but it was early, we booked for 17:30. Service was OK, very attentive. We thought it took a little while for our starters to arrive, but when they did, they were all very tasty. All the mains were lovely. My steak (rare) was over-cooked, but was replaced and it was very, very tasty! We still think this is one of the best restaurants in Northampton! We were very impressed with our servers questioning over allergies. One of our party has a cashew & pistachio allergy. They asked exactly what that person was eating etc.

A great start to the weekend. The dinner for all of us was super - promptly served and full fresh flavours. Service was really friendly and attentive. All had 3 courses and all great.

Food delicious and beautifully presented - service excellent. A new menu and an excellent choices to decide on - all of us had different items and all high standard with tasty fresh flavours. Lovely relaxed atmosphere A brilliant evening and reliably great food

This restaurant must have changed ownership in recent years because it was dramatically different from when I last visited. Considering that we were the ONLY people in the restaurant during our meal, the service was extremely slow, to say the least! We waited 45 minutes for our starters to arrive and then a further 45 minutes for our main meals to arrive. Unfortunately, when it did arrive (in dribs & drabs) the food was mediocre to poor at best. The girl who served us was (sort of) trying her best, but she wasn't that attentive to us, and we seemed to be the ones trying to get her attention throughout. The service was so bad that I wondered if she was the only person working that day, cooking the food as well as serving it! The quality did not reflect the price, and we definitely won't be returning.
