We had come to celebrate my son (4th generation of family dining here now) and his recent graduation. We decided on the new Brunch menu for the occasion. The new menu items were fantastic, prompt service, and pleasant hospitality! I miss some of the original menu items from the past, but it’s still a great place to visit and dine!

The pork shank was excellent…all the food was very good. The server was outstanding! Parking was confusing…other than that, a terrific experience!

Booked for dinner outside but rain set in, hostess cheerily found us a nice table inside. This is an authentic German restaurant that has never let us down. Please support these folks and have a great meal guaranteed

On our way from Boston to Great Barrington we stopped at the Student Prince Cafe for dinner . My husband is German and he was interested in having a good German meal. 1. Potato Pancake Appetizer 3 small pieces - but good tasting served with a choice of applesauce and sour cream. 2 Large Pretzel - good but dips American type and not usual to accompany. 3. Schnitzel which was disappointing- breaded heavily, seasoned incorrectly. Cucumber side salad good. Schnitzel not authentic and doughy 4. Pork Shank delicious and tender .Service & staff very friendly, accommodating and attentive. Decor was so interesting, great detail to collections that could be in a museum- walls of cork screws, beer steins etc.

As always, the food was excellent and our server Jeffrey was phenomenal. He took extra time to make sure my gluten free child knew what she could eat and helped direct our meal choices.

Our server was alright-forgot to bring items that were ordered. The food was mediocre. No breading on the chicken schnitzel and the portion was very small for the cost.

We had a fantastic lunch. Our waitress, Libby, was fabulous and the food was delicious. The outdoor seating was comfortable and the decorations were lovely. Always a pleasure to dine at The Student Prince!

Visited the Student Prince for a birthday dinner. For years, I have heard about this Springfield institution. From entry to exit, we were treated to first class service and outstanding food! We will certainly be back!
