The Stone Grill is concept dining restaurant on Blackpool's Queens Promenade, boasting amazing Irish sea views from both our restaurant and bar. Our concept is we serve high end quality steaks on our hot volcanic lava stones to the table, allowing you to cook to your steak to your idea of perfection. Due to the nature of the hot volcanic stones we are an over 14 year old restaurant only.

First time on date night with the hubby here and we will be back. Loved the vibe and the food was sooo good!

We went on Sunday evening to celebrate my daughter’s 19th, we arrived a little early and were seated immediately by Loretta, from greeting us Loretta couldn’t do enough to help. She even offered me a pair of her spare glasses as I’d left mine at the hotel. The venue is very well kept, extremely clean, and its decor is lovely, and hasn’t been done on the cheap. We’ve been visiting Stone Grill for 5 years, we’ve see the decor change, but every time it’s been a pleasure. This time Loretta’s engagement and friendly service made it even more pleasurable. Stone Grill is a place that you need to go if you love steak, and you are after a memorable experience cooking on the lava rocks. All in all a real treat, that you Loretta, RCM and family. The only problem is that as we don’t live on the doorstep we can’t go more frequently 🙏🤤

This was our first time at Stone Grill, and we will definitely be back! The food was amazing. We cooked our own steak on a hot stone to our liking. This was the best steak I have ever had, very tasty and tender. The service from the team was brilliant, I cannot fault anything!

We go to Blackpool as a family every year, my kids are now a lot older so I was looking for different experiences other than the normal Blackpool attractions as it was on a high weather warning and the tower and a few other things were not in use. This place is absolutely superb! The service and food was outstanding. As most parents will know with older kids these days they are on there phones constantly. So when the hot plate hit the table and they started the experience of cooking there own steak, one of the kids got zebra, yes zebra!! (this isn’t your run of the mill steak place) it sells exotics from ostrich to zebra and crocodile, the phones were in full Snapchat mode and after that there phones were pinging left right and centre of how impressed there friends were and wanting to know where they were. Safe to say, the messages unbelievably! didn’t get answered straight away much to my shock, as they were that amongst the experience of cooking their own steak to even care what was going on, on the other end of the phone! They also do burgers, for non steak lovers. The prices in my opinion are not actually that pricey for the quality and quantity of what you get! On the way home, that was the most talked about thing we did, and how we could all turn round and go eat it again. Thank you so much, and well done for making the normal run of the mill family meal, out something exceptional ☺️

There was no ambience at all. Everyone was talking at their own tables very quietly to one another. There was no music to set the mood. The service was not very good at all felt not welcomed at first. Towards the end wasn’t too bad but then I already made up my mind that the staff were not very welcoming. I took my daughter in as I didn’t see it anywhere that children aren’t allowed and it felt as if the attention to us was very rushed. Food was great however.

Had fantastic service from Loretta, ensuring everything was delivered on time & what we requested, venue had been through a refurbishment since we were last there, under new owners looking very impressive, food was delicious although my meat wasn't red hot like the fries & accompaniments it was still very tasty & enjoyable, cocktails were great, definitely be coming back

Average welcome. Had to ask to order drinks. Very disappointing wine menu…. Jack Rabbit white wine or Jack Rabbit white wine….YUK!! Please introduce some alternatives. Ended up having to drink cider with a fabulous steak dinner. Cannot fault the food, it was fabulous. Tried feeding back constructive criticism to the waitress about the wine, but she looked at me as if I had two heads on my shoulder!! Would I return….yes for the food, but certainly NOT for the choice of wine.

I booked this restaurant on good reviews from others. I am disabled and my aunty who is 93 needs to use a small mobility scooter as she can hardly walk. It stated it was wheelchair friendly so thought great. We arrived and the partially completed ramp was blocked off. After paying already £20 to get there and my auntie unable to walk that far we used the ramp anyway. Once inside we were told we couldn’t bring a mobility scooter into the premises. I asked why, the manager said they didn’t have insurance due to not having a ramp. How can they therefore claim they are wheelchair friendly without a ramp? Manager said they were disabled accessible but it currently (August 2024) isn’t. I was told that it clearly stated this when making the reservation, yet upon checking again it does not say anything about it, again saying wheelchair accessible. So we had to put the mobility scooter outside and my 93 year old auntie had to walk to the table. I went to use the disabled toilet, but it was locked and I had to ask for it to be opened. This toilet again didn’t have a bin or sanitary bin. This was an issue for me who has Crohns Disease and needed to use such item. Where we were sat was extremely dark, when we asked if they could turn on the light we were told they had a known technical issue and so had to sit in very dim light. Known technical issue, maybe supply another source of lighting, especially when you have to cook your own food at your table. We were never asked if we’d like another drink, my aunties beef burger was burnt. We asked if she could have peas, like they served with fish and chips, and told “peas??? No you can’t have a portion of peas”. It was just a terrible experience, and the food was ok. I’m not one normally for leaving bad reviews, everyone can make a mistake but it was a special occasion, which I indicated when reserving. It was just spoilt. Starters were nice, drinks ok too… that’s all I can think to say.

Thank you for your review and having been on duty during your evening, you entered 45 minutes late which we still seated yourselves, used a do not use disabled ramp currently under construction clearly marked do not use, see reception rather than the side disabled entrance which had we of known you required, we would of seated your table accordingly and aided your group. The SG is making a new front facing disabled entrance rather than a side entrance and we do ask during renovations that any needing disabled entrance on your booking to kindly note. Unfortunately given your entrance, lateness and rudeness towards our team, we were just not able to do anything right for your table. Ref the food, i can see that numerous check backs from my colleagues were performed and noted no issues,
