The Statler is an American Bistro and Cocktail Bar nestled into the heart of Downtown Detroit's Entertainment District. The Statler offers classic cuisine with a slightly modern twist, catering to both adventurous and traditional diners alike. Our menu was created by Certified Master Chef Daniel Scannell, modeling a French Bistro. The Statler delivers a world class Gastro and Mixology Bar and Formal Dining Room Experiences. Enjoy a Smoked Old Fashioned with Suntory Japanese Whiskey and Crispy Calamari, and Friends during Happy Hour, then a Bottle of Faust Cabernet Sauvignon with Braised Short Ribs and Family in our Dining Room.     Food was wonderful. Very loud atmosphere however! Difficult to have "dinner conversation ".

    The first thing that jumped out at us was the menu. So many of the dishes, including the sides, soups, and salads, in addition to the entrees looked so delicious! It was so hard to decide. When we decided on the scallops and the filet we were definitely pleased. Honestly, I want to go back and try everything!

    We celebrated our anniversary and we had great time. The food was excellent and highly recommend the scallops and short ribs

    Main dish and plates were barely lukewarm. When taking drink order, did not inquire about vodka preference deflault brand is Tito’s. However, to their credit, they did replace it.

    I brought my fiance here for Father’s Day, and was honestly embarrassed that I did. There was no bread; the lobster stew looked completely different than advertised; the drinks were not up to par, and the list goes on and on. Our server Katrina was delightful enough; the manager Ron was relatively useless. I can’t say that I’ll be back anytime soon. Very disappointing.

    I ordered Breakfast Americana. I had high expectations for this. However, it looks like ordinary breakfast with 2 pieces of bread, scrambled egg, bacon and sausages. Nothing special and extra ordinary. I don't think it's worth the price
