Established in 1984, the Signal Restaurant has drawn praise from critics, guests and multiple award judges, as well as people from the surrounding area. The evening begins at 6.30pm with a pre-dinner cocktail or glass of our Prosecco Frizzante. At 7pm you will be brought in to the Signal Restaurant for the seven courses which are carefully curated and prepared by our head chef. It’s an opportunity for us to share our passion for good food and fine wine – and to show off our pride in the locality. Join us as your tastebuds wander from flavour to flavour and from wine to wine, experiencing combinations that may surprise you – but will not disappoint.

Arrived at 8:15 which we had booked for. Was told table wasn’t ready and we were asked to wait in the library. We were left waiting until 8:45 at which we decided to leave. Ridiculous that a table wasn’t ready for the time booked. Very very bad service.

We had a lovely meal in the library area of the Platform Bar. Food never disappoints and the cozy welcoming feel makes it a really enjoyable experience. We’ll be back soon.

Have done a fantastic job turning this quaint country hotel into a high end culinary boutique. Food is fantastic - akin to a high end French Auberge. Well worth the trip. Great job.

Absolutely superb dinner in the restaurant. Lots of local produce on the menu. Beautifully cooked food and excellent service. Highly recommend

We felt very welcome from the minute we entered the door seated promptly. Loved the comfortable atmosphere of the bar n surroundings. The service from start to finish was topclasss a very rare occurrence in hospitality industry recent years. Food was delicious all 3 courses .
